Three Tune Tuesday #ttt | "ENYA"
Greetings music lover! Happy Three Tune Tuesday! It's that time again where I share three of my favourite tunes for this beautiful day.
This week, I want to highlight Enya, an artist I greatly admire. I'll be focusing on some of her underrated songs that I believe deserve more recognition.
Enya is an Irish singer, songwriter and musician known for her unique sound. She became famous after her second album "Watermark" in 1988.
Her career took off and she's been recognised as one of the most successful female artists in the history of contemporary music.
She has so many beautiful songs that don't always get the recognition they deserve. Here are three that I feel are underrated:
"Marble Halls"
This song is a hidden gem in Enya. The melody is hauntingly beautiful and the lyrics are so poetic.
"On Your Shore"
This song is deeply emotional and displaying Enya's ability to create a serene and calming atmosphere with her music.
"Afer Ventus"
This song is from her album "Shepherd Moons" and it's a stunning piece that's often overlooked.

Her songs have such a melodic and calming effect that I can fall asleep in seconds.
You are right about Enya. She is well known for some of her popular songs, but has some really not well known great tracks that are masterpieces.

Hi. Enya is my best favourite foreign artist. Especially, I love this song from Enya. This sing made at The Lord of the Rings movie for Aragorn and Arwen. A perfect sing.

That's weird. It works fine for me. I tried Peakd and Ecency, and both applications worked fine, with all three music videos showing.

Oh Enya is a star and now I am curious if you have covered her...
I never did because her song was rarely requested. Some might not like her songs, or her songs were not suitable for the place where I performed.
Ah yes, she has quite a unique style right enough. A shame though, you have a great voice.
I've been in a few bands, and we usually only play the standard and requested songs. It also depends on my band; some of the bands I've been in are into billboard songs, so we'll most likely play the latest or songs that are on the top 100 billboard charts.
But I no longer sing on a regular basis. I only perform at gigs or events. So I'm currently working as a freelance singer.
Ah ok, yea I was having a nosey on your youtube channel. A freelance singer must be a hard gig. Do you sing here on the open mic challenges?
I've always enjoyed being a freelance singer because it allows me the freedom to do other things and avoid being stuck in a fixed schedule. I have another job now, so being a freelancer is more convenient.
Actually, I've been wanting to join the open mic challenge ❗😜, but I have this habit of feeling weird when talking alone in front of a camera and singing. If I do any live singing on TikTok or Facebook, it's usually once in a blue moon. It doesn't feel the same as being in front of a live crowd.🤭

Wow that is weird to me you would feel weird. Put me in the audience 🤣 if that would help, you should do it though as I see some of the entries and some of the rewards that those entries get!!!
