CREATIVITY IS THE BIRTHPLACE OF UNIQUENESS

If you keep doing things the same way everyone are doing, you won’t really be outstanding.

What makes people unique and outstanding is when you are different. As an instrumentalist it is better said that you have your own way of sounding on the instrument you play than sounding the same way like everybody else.

Just picture this; For example we are all musicians and for thousands of years we all keep doing this music the same way, sound the same way and the next generation also keep doing it the same way and the trend continue like that, how does that look to you? Won’t that be boring?

What makes apple phones unique is just simply the difference it carries. Maybe it is until you kill yourself trying be like someone before you come to an
understanding that everyone are different and made to display differently.

We might all be humans having blood running through our veins, have eye, mouth, ear and other human morphological features but trust me we are still different.

You can always wish to play the drums, keyboard or even sing like a particular person, you can actually sound like the person but you cannot be like the person.

The reason why everyone must be different is for the sake of uniqueness, without differences uniqueness will not be birthed.

Even bacteria that infect us humans are different. There is what they call opportunistic bacteria and potential bacteria.

What differentiate the opportunistic bacteria from the potential bacteria is that the opportunistic bacteria infect the host when the immune system of the host is down then it is uses that opportunity to infect the host while the potential bacteria infect the host whether the immune system is down or not. So that is why the two bacteria are unique in their own way.

Everyone are unique in their own way only if we all try not to be like someone else but instead try to discover ourselves and be like ourselves.

HOW CAN ONE BE CREATIVE?

The best way I think might help out in making you a creative one in your talent is “FEEDING YOUR EARS, EYES AND MIND WITH THE RIGHT MATERIALS”.

This has helped me and it is still helping me.

You as a musician you know the kind of music you like doing, it is better you start feeding your mind with materials of the kind of genre of music you love.

1. Read the right books,
2. Relate with likeminded people,
3. Watch and listen to videos and music of your kind of music
4. Sit yourself down and practice, it is only in the place of practice one can create his or her
   sound as an instrumentalist.

Lastly, pin this down; creativity is contagious. Always be around creative drummers and watch
how easily your life will be transformed.
