Paraulata, let's dance
Cinema was greatly influenced by music in the 70's, films were released in which the soundtrack was a fundamental part and that led them to be great successes, among these we find classics such as: Jaws, Jesus Christ Superstar, Grease, Love Story, Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, Rocky. Some of them generated a lot of revenue at the box office. Today, they make us dance, dream and remember the days of our youth.
Some Hivers were not born, but so were their parents and grandparents in the discotheques enjoying disco music. Paraulata was 16 years old at the time, it was hard for her to get permission to go to the movies or to dance. But she always managed to go. In the 70's, duos, bands and groups with big hits such as: Captain & Tennille, Barry White, Commodores, Gloria Gaynor, among others. One of my favorites being Peter Frampton's album “Frampton”.
In 1977, the world shook and went boom, boom, boom when the movie “Saturday Night Fever” was released; and a year later, in April 1978, it was released in my country. 47 years since its release it still makes me dance. Tony Manero's story was like that of any other kid, normal and ordinary, who wanted to succeed and with many problems in his life.
The film did not win any statuettes, but it broke box office records. Its soundtrack is one of the best in the history of cinema, consisting of seventeen songs: The Bee Gees, Yvonne Elliman, Walter Murphy, David Shire, Ralph McDonald, KoolandthegangShow and The Trammps. Marina Sanchez,, published an article entitled: “Classic movie days, 7 things you didn't know about 'Saturday Night Fever' with John Travolta”, where she indicates:

Forty-seven years have passed, and the songs from this movie still gets people of all ages dancing. Today I bring for #ThreeTuneTuesday, three songs from the soundtrack of this famous movie. El cine se vio muy influenciado por la música en los años 70, se estrenaron filmes en los que su banda sonora fue una parte fundamental y que las llevaron a ser granes éxitos, entre estas encontramos clásicos tales como: Tiburón, Jesucristo Superstar, Grease, Love Story, Star Wars: Episodio IV- Una nueva esperanza, Rocky. Algunas generaron muchos ingresos en las taquillas. Hoy por hoy, nos ponen a bailar, a soñar y a recordar esos días de juventud.
Algunos Hivers, no habían nacido, pero así estaban sus padres y abuelos en las discotecas disfrutando de la música disco. Tenía Paraulata, 16 años para entonces, le costaba que le dieran permiso para ir al cine ni a bailar. Pero siempre se las ingeniaba para ir. En los años 70, se impusieron dúo, bandas y grupos con grandes éxitos tales como: Captain & Tennille, Barry White, Commodores, Gloria Gaynor, entre otros. Siendo uno de mis preferidos Peter Frampton su álbum “Frampton”.
En el año 1977, el mundo se tambaleó e hizo ¡buuum!; ¡pum! Cuando se estrenó la película “Fiebre del sábado por la noche”; y un año después, en abril de 1978, se estrenó en mi país. 47 años desde su estreno todavía me pone a bailar. La historia de Tony Manero era como la de cualquier chico, normal y corriente, que deseaba triunfar y con muchos problemas en su vida.
La película no ganó ninguna estatuilla, pero batió récord en taquilla. Creo que ser joven es la etapa más critica del ser humano, comienzan los problemas, las responsabilidades, el decidir ¿que hacer? Y buscar las maneras de lograr sus sueños. Es un largo trayecto y nada fácil. Pero muchos no se dan por vencido. Esta canción fue un himno para muchs jóvenes de la epoca de los años 70.

Pasan muchos recuerdos por mi memoria, sobre todo del amor. Los inicios de amistad con mi Esposito, solo amigos. Ni siquiera imaginaba que años después seria el amor de mi vida. Noches de baile y de amor. Es por esto que le dedico esta melodía a mi Esposito, son 35 años. ¡¡¡Naguará!!!!, es un poco de años, como decimos los venezolanos. A bailar con la canción que ocupa mi puesto dos, Night Fever.

Aunque no lo crean, la vida es música y hay melodías que nos quedan tatuadas en la piel, porque en su momento significaron muchos en nuestra vida. Para mi una de las melodías más linda de los Bee Gees es “How Deep Is Your Love”, y la traigo en el puesto tres.

No sabes cuánto me habría gustado nacer en esa época, considero que 70 y 80 fue lo mejor de la música y no lo dudo, aunque no nací en esos años hay canciones que escucho y definitivamente no tiene comparación con mucha de la locura que se escucha hoy en día.
Hay música para todos los gusto, peo los años 70, 80 y 90 fueron especiales. Te invito a ver este filme con Jhon Travolta.

Amiga, yo no soy de esa época, y me emociona tu publicación. Yo soy de mediados de los 80 pero recuerdo muchas de esas peliculas y algunas canciones que tuvieron su extensión por más de una decáca. Aún siguen siendo clásicos increibles. Después de viejo fue que observe Fiebre de Sábado por la noche. Y es demasiado emocionante la cultura de los 70 y las música Disco. He tenido la oportunidad de interpretar estos temas muchas veces. Gracias por compartir esos bonitos recuerdos.

Un post lleno de recuerdo, alegrías y de esa bella música que no muere. Gracias por este viaje en el tiempo que nos has regalado, lo disfrutè de principio a fin. Esas son canciones que nunca nos cansaremos de oir y bailar.
