All women on planet Earth have at some point in their lives longed for Prince Charming, an ice cream man, or a pirate to give their heart to, so we can set sail in a little boat toward the infinity of love and free ourselves from the stress and anxieties of everyday life. Stop! Let me clarify that I don't like any of the pirates of the Caribbean, much less Captain Jack Sparrow. If he had been my only option as a soul mate, I would have stayed single, as we say in Venezuela.
A real pirate, handsome with strong muscles like Puerto Rican singer Chayanne, to love and give lots of hugs to. Sometimes love comes late in our lives, but the important thing is that it finds its way. You have to wait and not give up, because at any moment he will knock on your door. Platonic love is also valid, for any handsome singer or actor whose love songs and performances make you cry.
It may even happen that we come to love an entire band or musical group.

Todas las mujeres en el planeta tierra alguna vez en su vida anhelamos un príncipe azul, un papá de los helados o un pirata para darle el corazón y que zarpemos en un botecito hacia el infinito del amor y liberarnos del estrés y ansiedades del día a dia. ¡stop! Aclaro que no me gusta ninguno de los piratas del Caribe y mucho menos el Capitán Jack Sparrow, si hubiese sido la única opción como media naranja me hubiese quedado a vestir santos, como decimos los venezolanos.
Un pirata de verdad, buen mozo con fuertes músculos como el cantante puertorriqueño Chayanne para amarlo y darle muchos “apapachos”. A veces puede el amor llega tarde a nuestra vida, pero lo importante es que encentre la dirección. Hay que esperar y no darse por vencido, en cualquier momento tocara la puerta. También se vale un amor platónico, de cualquier cantante y actor guapo para llorar con sus canciones de amor y actuaciones.
Puede suceder que hasta llegamos a amar a toda una banda o grupo musical.

¿Quién no va a soñar con un amor platónico como Chayanne? Imposible, porque soñamos con verlo de cerca y disfrutar, sin importar el calor y que haya muchas otras chicas, ya que compartimos todas el mismo sueño. Chayanne tiene un lugar especial en mi corazón, ese hombre con linda sonrisa y carismático. Chayanne… ¡mi papá de los helados! ¡mi pirata!
Desde que lo conocí me enamore de este lindo pirata que le canta al amor y a la pasión. También, lo he visto en telenovelas, pero para mi no es su estilo.

En la actualidad, "Bailemos Otra Vez Tour" se encuentra de gira por varios países para el disfrute de sus fan, ya abuelitas, pero de igual manera lo han acompañado en un concierto que vale la pena. Mi cuñada y sobrina disfrutaron de una noche con mi Chayanne, en Santiago de Chile y quedaron fascinadas e impresionadas con este hombre tan bello, simpático y gentil.

I recall those days when, after leaving the dining hall at night, my group of friends and I would sit at the door of the residence courtyard, enjoying the sky while the boys played their guitars. We were a small group, and I listened to my friend Francisco sing “Tu pirata soy yo” (I am your pirate). This melody played on all the radio stations.
The 1989 album “Chayanne II” features the standout tracks: “Tu pirata soy yo,” “Fuiste un trozo de hielo en la escarcha,” and “Este ritmo se baila así.” This album cemented his status as a singer. This is my favorite, and I give it the number one spot.
Who doesn't do crazy things when they're in love? We are capable of anything for the one we love. Maybe it's not worth it, but at the time we don't see it that way. We vibrate in unison and fly to infinity.

Aquellos inolvidables años 80, entre libros, estudios, música y amigos. Evoco esos días cuando en las noches después de salir del comedor nos sentábamos en la puerta del patio de la residencia con mi grupo de amigos, disfrutando del cielo. Mientras los chicos tocaban sus guitarras. Eramos un reducido grupo en el que escuché al amigo Francisco cantar “Tu pirata soy yo”. Esta melodía sonaba en todas las estaciones de radio.
En el álbum "Chayanne II" , del año 1989, destacan: “Tu pirata soy yo”, "Fuiste un trozo de hielo en la escarcha", y "Este ritmo se baila así". Este álbum lo consolida como cantante. Esta es mi preferida y le doy el puesto uno.
¿Quién no hace locura cuando está enamorado? Somos capaces de todo por el ser amado. Quizás, no vale la pena pero en ese momento no lo vemos así. Vibramos al unisono y volamos al infinito.
