Top 3 songs of 2025
First of all, what if I told you that I am yet to adapt to the trending way of listening to music, such as using platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and many others? Oh yes, I am still stuck with the conventional download-and-play method, and I am not shy about it.

To pick the best songs of 2025 based on the ones I played, it was very easy for me. I simply went to my music playlist, checked the list of songs I downloaded that were released this year, and that was all. The following are the top released songs of 2025 that I played back to back.
Laho by Shallipopi:
This song actually made me like Shallipopi. I was among those who did not like him because of his “wayward” and rough lyrical style of music, but this song humbled my thoughts towards him. This song does not have deep lyrics, but the vibes and the weight it carried in the music industry were just too much.
This song has two versions: the original and the remix, where Shallipopi featured Burna Boy. The original version seems to be the biggest one for me, but a lot of people rate the remix as the better version.
With You by Davido featuring Omah Lay:
This song, when it was released, and even till today, feels like a national anthem, especially Davido’s verse. Another beautiful thing about this song is its video. It did not just deliver the hype we were expecting; it delivered more than that. A Nigerian music legend, Bright Chimezie, was featured, and the entire scene was simply lovely.
Beat Around The Bush by Magnito and Portable:
Mehn, I love this song so much, even though it is not popular and not highly rated among the top songs of the year. Magnito, the lyrics master, did a finished work on this track, and each time I listen to it, I always give him a round of applause.
Portable, though I do not often like the tone of his songs, did well with his verse too. I really wish a video would be released for this song.
Happy New Year!

The last day of the year! Hard to believe.. 2025 flew by quickly!! Thanks for the continued support for #ttt
