Harbiter reacts to: Lacuna Coil

Hi Invisibles of the night and music lovers!

I want to share with you my very first music reaction. I was hoping for 3speak to get back up earlier so I could post this on Hive first... Anyway, this gave me the chance to post something on my YouTube channel and start growing there too.

I started this video format where I react to songs and my first episode is about the new single from Lacuna Coil's upcoming album Sleepless Empire.

I am really a big fan of the Italian metal band, especially since they made Delirium, one of my favorite metal records ever. They're still going in the same musical direction, they revamped their sound, entering the more modern metalcore scene but with their own distinct sound, thanks to the recognizable voices of the two singers Andrea Ferro and Cristina Scabbia.

I saw them live a few years back. I went with my daughter to see Motionless in White and they were also playing. It's not really my sort of music, but her friend couldn't go and she didn't want to go alone. So it was an interesting night. I can appreciate the artistry anyway.

I always liked rock and some metal, but my daughter went for some heavier stuff. She just went to see Sleep Token again. I've not heard enough of them to know if I like them.

I think I have the same headphones as you.

Yeah Motionless in white and Sleep token are very big right now, younger metalheads are really into them.
And Lacuna Coil are much more famous in America and the rest of Europe than Italy. But even if they are around for more than 20 years now, they've never been so big. Still, they're the most successful Italian metal band

Impressive the new Lacuna Coil album. I love that mixture of its exclusive symphonic metal sound. I have enjoyed albums such as "Never Dawn" and "Words." The riffs are amazing.

I began to listen to them since Shallow Life so I don't know much they're older albums except for the most famous songs like Heaven's a lie or Our truth.
I'm not a big fan of symphonic so I prefer much more their new sound, but I can see why they may have lost some of the old fans for this
