¡Nuestro próximo concierto! - Esp/Eng

Paso por aquí con mucha alegría para hablarles del próximo concierto de la Cantoría José Antonio Anzoátegui, una agrupación coral a la cual pertenezco y que en corto tiempo me ha permitido aprender mucho más sobre el mundo del canto coral y este próximo sábado 03 de mayo estaremos celebrando su XIX Aniversario.

Ha sido un trabajo arduo porque este es un coro que exige bastante, pero cuando ves el progreso se siente maravillosamente saber que has dado lo mejor de ti durante este nuevo proceso de aprendizaje, estoy muy emocionada porque sé que va a ser un concierto que va a tocar muchos corazones ¡Estoy segura que el público va a disfrutar un montón!

I am thrilled to tell you about the next concert of the Cantoría José Antonio Anzoátegui, a choral group to which I belong and that in a short time has allowed me to learn much more about the world of choral singing and this coming Saturday May 3rd we will be celebrating its XIX Anniversary.

It has been hard work because this is a choir that demands a lot, but when you see the progress, it feels wonderful to know that you have given the best of yourself during this new learning process, I am very excited because I know it will be a concert that will touch many hearts. I'm sure the audience will enjoy it a lot!

• El repertorio

Les comento que es un repertorio con piezas exquisitas, la mayoría de estos temas son venezolanos, enmarcados en variadas regiones del país como la oriental o central. Además de tener temas de música popular como Cuando te beso o De que callada manera. He estado estudiando bastante y dando el 100% de mí, ha sido todo un reto pues las canciones tienen divisiones, así que la concentración debe ser mayor.

The repertoire

It is a repertoire with exquisite pieces, most of them are Venezuelan, framed in various regions of the country as the eastern or central. Besides having popular music themes such as Cuando te beso or De que callada manera. I have been studying a lot and giving 100% of myself, it has been a challenge because the songs have divisions, so the concentration must be greater.

• Los ensayos

Hemos tenido que aumentar el número de ensayos semanales, así que el tiempo no me ha sobrado durante los últimos días, pero me encanta que en cada uno de ellos el director nos indica cómo debemos cantar cada pieza, y nos da muchas sugerencias para prestar gran atención a los detalles, me gusta su precisión y coherencia para hacer las correcciones y su positividad para infundirnos ánimo, así como amor por el canto coral.

The rehearsals

We have had to increase the number of weekly rehearsals, so I have not had much time to spare during the last few days, but I love that in each one, the director tells us how we should sing each piece and gives us many suggestions for paying great attention to detail. I like his precision and consistency in making corrections, his positivity instilling encouragement in us, and his love for choral singing.

• Cantando como solista

Otra cosa que me hace muy feliz de este concierto es que además voy a cantar como solista, estaré interpretando una canción venezolana que amo y es Acidito, estaré acompañada del ensamble Kariña, quienes han sido muy amables apoyando este evento. Otros cuatro compañeros también engalanarán la noche con sus canciones como solistas. Es un gran honor que el Director del coro me haya brindado esta genial oportunidad.

Singing as a soloist

Another thing that makes me very happy about this concert is that I will also be singing as a soloist, I will be performing a Venezuelan song that I love and it is Acidito, I will be accompanied by the ensemble Kariña, who have been very kind in supporting this event. Four other colleagues will also grace the evening with their songs as soloists. It is a great honor that the choir director has given me this great opportunity.

• Vestuario y Maquillaje

Y no solo se está prestando atención a la calidad vocal, sino también a la imagen del evento, algo muy importante cuando te defines como un artista integral, así que tenemos nuevo vestuario, las chicas estaremos ataviadas con un bonito vestido azul rey largo y por si fuera poco recibimos un taller de automaquillaje de parte de uno de nuestros patrocinantes, fue una experiencia nueva muy interesante, aprendí muchos tips de maquillaje, el resultado final lo pueden ver en mi foto de portada.

Costumes and Makeup

And we are not only paying attention to the vocal quality, but also to the image of the event, something very important when you define yourself as an integral artist, so we have new costumes, the girls will be dressed in a beautiful long royal blue dress and as if that were not enough we received an automatic makeup workshop from one of our sponsors, it was a very interesting new experience, I learned many makeup tips, the final result you can see in my cover photo.

Hemos estado trabajando duro y con muchas ganas, somos un equipo con muy buena onda y sé que en escena vamos a brillar porque todo lo que se hace desde un corazón feliz tiene un buen resultado.

We have been working hard and with a lot of desire, we are a team with a very good vibe and I know that on stage we will shine because everything that is done from a happy heart has a good result.
