Yo no pasé diez años viendo Stranger Things; lo hice en un maratón hace un par de años, así como hice con Juego de Tronos, pues al escuchar que eran unas series muy buenas, me animé.

Esto me ha pasado con otras series como Dark, ya que al escuchar que son series geniales cuyo final se acerca, me pica la curiosidad y empiezo a verlas, aunque a esta última no le vi el aspecto grandioso, así que la abandoné. He estado pensando en darme una segunda oportunidad con ella.

En el caso específico de Stranger Things, esta serie me atrapó desde el primer capítulo. Agradecí la vibra ochentosa de la serie y la devoré en pocos días, cuando hice el maratón que les mencioné anteriormente. Si bien no quedé totalmente satisfecha con el final y con otros detalles que pienso que no fueron tan bien cuidados, es una serie que me gustó bastante, tanto así que la volvería a ver.

Un aspecto extraordinario de la serie es la selección musical. Hace poco vi un especial donde los hermanos Duffer, creadores de la serie, decían que solo en la temporada 2 habían gastado para el capítulo de serie de temporada casi todo el presupuesto musical que tenían pautado. Me causó curiosidad conocer ese monto, pero sin dudas, tomando en cuenta los temazos presentes en la serie, estamos hablando de una cifra bien alta.

Hoy deseo compartir con ustedes algunas de mis canciones favoritas de esta serie, como es "Never ended story". De esta canción Dustin y su novia hacen un dúo precioso, el cual me hizo viajar en el tiempo a mis años de infancia y recordar la bella película de La historia sin fin con su dragón tan peculiar. Si en esa escena no te ríes y te enterneces, cuidado, puede que te estés convirtiendo en un demogorgon (lol).

I didn't spend ten years watching Stranger Things; I binge-watched it a couple of years ago, just like I did with Game of Thrones, because when I heard they were really good series, I decided to give them a try.

This has happened to me with other series such as Dark, because when I heard that they were great series coming to an end, my curiosity was piqued and I started watching them, although I didn't see the greatness in the latter, so I gave up on it. I've been thinking about giving it a second chance.

In the specific case of Stranger Things, this series hooked me from the first episode. I loved the 80s vibe of the series and devoured it in a few days when I did the marathon I mentioned earlier. Although I wasn't entirely satisfied with the ending and other details that I think weren't very well thought out, I liked the series so much that I would watch it again.

One extraordinary aspect of the series is the music selection. I recently saw a special where the Duffer brothers, creators of the series, said that in season 2 alone, they had spent almost their entire music budget on the season finale. I was curious to know the amount, but without a doubt, considering the great songs featured in the series, we're talking about a very high figure.

Today I want to share with you some of my favorite songs from this series, such as “Never Ending Story.” Dustin and his girlfriend perform a beautiful duet of this song, which took me back in time to my childhood and reminded me of the beautiful movie The Never Ending Story with its peculiar dragon. If you don't laugh and feel touched by that scene, be careful, you might be turning into a demogorgon (lol).

"Every Breath You Take" es una de mis canciones favoritas de todos los tiempos y ciertamente me siento bastante ofendida porque resulta que las nuevas generaciones la llaman "la canción del acosador". La verdad es que este temazo de The Police no merece ese mote.

And of course, we couldn't leave out Kate Bush's “Running Up That Hill,” which is undoubtedly the most iconic song from the film. The song perfectly represents Max, one of the characters who wasn't there from the beginning of the series, but whose addition marked a turning point in it.
