My acquaintances know that something that characterizes me is that, for more than ten years, I admire with all my soul to Taylor Swift✨ Her music has accompanied me in different stages and specific situations in my life, they were always a support to move forward and face everything. That's why I needed to talk about her new album that came out this July 7th; an album full of magic and charm, Speak Now (Taylor's Version)✨💜

Mis conocidos saben que algo que me caracteriza es que, desde hace más de diez años, admiro con todo el alma a Taylor Swift✨ Su música me ha acompañado en diferentes etapas y situaciones específicas en mi vida, siempre fueron un apoyo para seguir adelante y enfrentar todo. Something very important you should know is that this is a "re-recording" of the original album. This album was actually released in October 2010, and what happened? Well, in short, Taylor lost the rights to her first six albums due to problems with her former label, even though she is always the person most involved in the creation of each album, from songwriting to production. So, a few years ago she made the decision to re-record these albums, in order to return to being the sole -and true- owner of all her work. The re-recordings have the original name of the album along with the title "Taylor's Version" to identify them😌
Algo muy importante que deben saber es que esta es una “regrabación” del álbum original. Este álbum realmente se estrenó en octubre del 2010, ¿y qué fue lo que pasó? Bueno, en resumen, Taylor perdió los derechos de sus primeros seis álbumes debido a problemas con su antigua disquera, a pesar de que ella siempre es la persona más involucrada en la creación de cada álbum, desde la escritura de las canciones hasta la producción. Esta canción habla sobre una relación madura, no solo de ese romance de verano o de adolescentes, sino de la clase de relación con propositos hacia el matrimonio y más allá; y también de la manera en que pequeños errores pueden arruinar ese vínculo tan especial, como los miedos del pasado, las inseguridades y la falta de comunicación. Cuando encuentres una persona así, no lo dejes ir y cree en el amor💖

Una canción para los amores apasionados, que nos hacen volar con la fuerza de un huracán, que nos hacen ver chispas cada vez que vemos a esa persona. Esta fue una de las primeras canciones que escuché de Taylor, tendría como 11 o 12 años, me encantó en ese momento y me inspiró a aprender inglés, y todavía lo sigue haciendo. Todos queremos ser cautivados como un espectáculo de fuegos artificiales, dar un beso bajo la lluvia, bajar nuestras defensas y ser nosotros mismos.

This was one of the first songs I heard from Taylor, I was about 11 or 12 years old, I loved it at the time, and it inspired me to learn English, and still does. The concept of this song is very obvious, and when I was a kid it became one of my biggest fantasies😂 It's when the person you love is marrying someone else, even though you are still in love, and you get to stop the wedding. Don't get married if you don't feel it's the right person, the decision to share your life with someone is very important, so do it with that person with whom you would run away until the end of the world.

Dear John es sobre enamorarse de un hombre mayor, quien esperas que sea maduro y centrado, pero no. Es sobre perderte a ti mismo por enamorarte, darlo todo por una persona, pero no dar nada por ti misma. My favorite part is the bridge of the song, a feature Taylor is known for, where she explains that you can put out the fire before you burn out completely, and shine on your own again.

This song is about the desperation of infidelity, that loop of rage and frustration that traps you. You hate the world, and you just want to scream. The lyrics of Better Than Revenge are strong, you feel the anger and hate, but the way she describes the situation doesn't represent who Taylor is now, she is a 33-year-old woman singing a song she wrote in her early 20s, for that reason she changed some parts of the original song, and personally I love it, we shouldn't promote hate between women.
🌸Haunted (Taylor's Version)💜
El álbum tiene esa vibra de cuento de hadas, tanto lo bueno como lo malo. Esta es la parte oscura del cuento, cuando crees que todo era magia y alegría, pero realmente estabas colgando de un hilo, diste un paso equivocado y te caíste. The album has that fairy tale vibe, both the good and the bad. This is the dark part of the story, when you think everything was magic and joy, but you were really hanging on by a thread, you took a wrong step and you fell. You lost everything, and there is no turning back because the love is gone. That thing you thought would last a lifetime wasn't as strong as you thought, and it broke.

Una de mis canciones favoritas de Taylor💖 En mi infancia juré que si algún día me casaba esta sería la canción de mi boda. One of my favorite Taylor songs 💖 In my childhood, I swore that if I ever got married, this would be my wedding song. It's the fairy tale we all want, where no matter the adversities they can always make it through together. Without fear or insecurities, they battle all the dragons that appear, rule the world and create a story that will never be forgotten. And if one day they must say goodbye, then they will remember each other fondly, wishing each other to shine. Taylor dedicated this song to her fans, so it's special.

Innocent, es sobre una persona que humilló públicamente a Taylor en sus primeros años de carrera, y que aun así ella le dice "donde has estado no define quién eres". Por otro lado, esperaba que Castles Crumbling también tuviera un ritmo similar, pero no, es una balada acerca del sentimiento de que todo lo que hemos construido se ha venido abajo, sentir que te han dejado solo y que te desconoces a ti mismo.
Electric Touch tells us about the nerves about dating someone for the first time, fearing that everything will be wrong, but still having hope that this time it might be the right person. On the other hand, I expected Castles Crumbling to also have a similar beat, but no, it's a ballad about feeling like everything we've built has fallen apart, feeling like you've been left alone and not knowing yourself.

I Can See You is the one chosen to be the promotional single of the album✨ With a music video directed by Taylor herself we see the effort she is making to recover her music, the way the fans are fighting together with her to save her. A very explicit lyrics for that time, and a quite sensual rhythm🤭 this song is for that crush, that passionate relationship that we want to keep secret... because maybe it's better enjoyed that way.

With the line: "You are not the exception, you will never learn your lesson / Stop checkin' your mailbox for confessions of love that ain't never gonna come" Foolish One struck a chord with me. Who hasn't felt lonely and looked for any shred of love, even though they know it's wrong? And so we hold on to every bit of hope because we have fears of being alone, even when the signs are obvious that it's not there.

I've admired Taylor since my childhood, I've grown up with her songs, and her evolution has always inspired me. I love that she is recovering her albums; her effort and dedication will not be in vain. There are only three more re-recordings left!✨ Obviously her voice no longer expresses in the songs the same pain of 2010, now you feel a more nostalgic tone, but that tells us that nothing hurts forever and it's not impossible to heal💜

Amiga, te quedó hermoso el post, describiste claramente lo que Taylor busca expresar en las letras de sus canciones. Speak Now es El primer álbum que escuche de ella y por el que me volví fan jaja y realmente me emocioné mucho al escucharlo. Las canciones del Vault son buenísimas también y el vídeo de I Can See You fue una sorpresa demasiado increíble, sobre todo por haber puesto a las personas que en su momento fueron parte de la historia de Taylor en la música. Y créeme, me quedé con las ganas de hablar mucho más 🤭 es que las canciones son tan hermosas, todas escritas únicamente por ella, así que tienen su esencia✨ Aunque yo la conocí con canciones de Fearless, este álbum fue el primero en que me senté y escuché cada canción con paciencia (la paciencia de una niña de 12 años🤭).
Creo que ese vídeo está en el top de sus mejores videos, cada detalle tan bien cuidado refleja la Mastermind que es ella🥺
