Hemos hablado de todo y de mucho y hoy es otro TTT para seguir conversando y conociendo un poco más de la música que me gusta y que de seguro formó parte de tu vida en alguna etapa que indiscutiblemente siempre vamos y queremos recordar. Una de esas etapas que más me gustó a mí es cuando empecé a conocer el rock y todas sus ramas. Recuerdo que mi tío fue un cómplice para introducirme a este mundo no solo del rock sino completamente de la música. Siempre me habla de los componentes que tenía alguna banda. Me decía: "Escucha el bajo, el riff de la guitarra, los matices del cantante"

We've talked about everything and anything, and today is another TTT to continue chatting and learning a little more about the music I like and that surely was part of your life at some stage that we will undoubtedly always remember and want to remember. One of the stages I liked the most was when I started to discover rock and all its branches. I remember that my uncle was instrumental in introducing me not only to rock but to music in general. He always talked to me about the different components of a band. He would say, “Listen to the bass, the guitar riff, the nuances of the singer.”

Todos esos detalles son sin duda fundamentales para comprender la música en todos sus sentidos. Pues no es nada más una bonita letra, es todo lo que lleva esa composición para que sea realmente poderosa y creo que ha sido eso lo que ha mantenido esas canciones de los 90 como clásicos de la música. Es importante entender la profundidad de cada composición y llegar a unir tu sentir con la canción. Eso podría hacer que tus emociones salgan a reducir pues cuando conectamos es un verdadero viaje de emociones y sensaciones.

It's not just about beautiful lyrics, it's everything that goes into a composition to make it truly powerful, and I think that's what has kept those songs from the 90s as music classics. It's important to understand the depth of each composition and to connect your feelings with the song. That could bring out your emotions, because when we connect, it's a real journey of emotions and sensations.

Por lo menos hablando de mí, he podido hasta llorar cuando logro compenetrarme por completo con el sentir que transmite la música y quien la interpreta. Recuerdo que cuando escuché al Sr @raymondelaparra, quien es el ganador de la tercera edición del Song Challenge, mis lágrimas no dudaron en salir. Eso, a mi parecer, es un recurso que como artistas deberíamos tener, el saber transmitir las emociones. Algo así como lo fue Damon Albarn.

At least speaking for myself, I have been moved to tears when I have been able to fully connect with the feelings conveyed by the music and the person performing it. I remember when I heard Mr. @raymondelaparra, winner of the third edition of the Song Challenge, my tears began to flow without hesitation. Resumir la vida de Damon en tres canciones y en pocas palabras es muy díficil ya que, si conoces su trayectoria artística es como si el artista viviera tres vidas al mismo tiempo ja ja ja ... Esto lo digo por todos esos proyectos en los que participó y en los que creó mientras seguía siendo una de las principales figuras del Britpop. Damon logró revolucionar la industria como la creación de una banda animada llamada Gorillaz lo cual podemos decir que fue su obra maestra conceptual. Junto a Jamie Hewlett quien contribuyó al diseño visual y narrativo a la banda. Creó que es la banda virtual más exitosa de la historia mezclando hip-hop, electrónica y dub con una estética visual única.

Summarizing Damon's life in three songs and a few words is very difficult because, if you know his artistic career, it's as if the artist lived three lives at the same time, ha ha ha... Recordar himnos como Parklife, Girls & Boys o Song 2 lo cual es una decisión difícil así que quizás, verán más abajo más de tres canciones pues no solo fueron esas dos bandas, también tuvo trabajo en colaboración y trabajos como solistas así que bueno, repito, la decisión está difícil.
