STRAY KIDS a new musical genre (ESP/ENG)

STRAY KIDS es un grupo de corea del sur creado por JYP Entertainment en 2017 y que debutó en Marzo del 2018. Actualmente el grupo se conforma por 8 integrantes: Bang Chan (El lider), Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin y I.N. Estos chicos más un noveno miembro (quien actualmente no forma parte del grupo) llamado Kim Woo-jin fueron vistos en un programa de supervivencia en 2017 para decidir si el grupo debutaría o no, en dicho programa el grupo pasó por distintas pruebas para demostrar su talento.

STRAY KIDS is a South Korean group created by JYP Entertainment in 2017 and debuted in March 2018. The group currently consists of 8 members: Bang Chan (The leader), Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N. These guys plus a ninth member (who is currently not part of the group) named Kim Woo-jin were seen in a survival program in 2017 to decide whether the group would debut or not, in that program the group went through different tests to prove their talent.

En los episodios 5 y 8, los participantes Lee Min-ho y Lee Felix fueron eliminados (cosa que no supero porque Lee Know en mi BIAS) debido a sus errores y falta de confianza en el escenario. Sin embargo, J.Y. Park le ofreció al publico votar por la última decisión. El resultado fue del 96% para que ambos permanecieran en el grupo y 4% para que no lo hicieran. Personalmente estoy agradecida con ese 96% porque Stary Kids no sería lo mismo sin ellos dos.

In episodes 5 and 8, contestants Lee Min-ho and Lee Felix were eliminated (which I didn't get over because Lee Know in my BIAS) due to their mistakes and lack of confidence on stage. However, J.Y. Park offered the audience to vote for the last decision. The result was 96% for both of them to stay in the group and 4% for them not to. I am personally thankful for that 96% because Stary Kids would not be the same without the two of them.

Finalmente, el 25 de marzo Stray Kids hizo su debut oficial con su álbum digital I Am Not. Siendo la mayoría de los créditos para 3Racha La forma en la que se hacen llamar los 3 raperos del grupo: Bang Chan, Changbin y Han.

Finally, on March 25 Stray Kids made their official debut with their digital album I Am Not. With most of the credits going to 3Racha The way the group's 3 rappers Bang Chan, Changbin and Han call themselves.

Recuerdo que conocí a Stray Kids porque varias de sus fanáticas competían con las fanáticas del grupo TXT (Cosa que no entiendo, son grupos muy diferentes, los dos son geniales, y en lo personal solo me interesa disfrutar de la música de ambos grupos y que ellos estén bien. Además de que los integrantes de ambos grupos son bastante amigos, en conclusión esa pelea entre fandoms no tiene mucho sentido, en mi opinión). En fin, busqué un poco de ellos y me enteré de que ¨God's Menu¨ era su canción más famosa, al principio no me gustó, pero después de escucharla un par de veces me fue convenciendo más y ahora me encanta, en especial la parte de felix del minuto 2:08

I remember that I met Stray Kids because some of their fans competed with the fans of TXT (which I don't understand, they are very different groups, both are great, and personally I'm only interested in enjoying the music of both groups and that they are well. Besides the members of both groups are close friends, in conclusion this fight between fandoms doesn't make much sense, in my opinion). Anyway, I searched a little bit about them and I found out that ¨God's Menu¨ was their most famous song, at first I didn't like it, but after listening to it a couple of times it convinced me more and now I love it, specially the part of Felix at minute 2:08.

Después por todo tik tok me empezó a salir el challenge de ¨Thunderous¨ y he de decir que esa canción si me encantó desde la primera vez que la escuché, y a partir de ahí los empecé a stanear.

After all tik tok I started to get the challenge of ¨Thunderous¨ and I have to say that I loved that song from the first time I heard it, and from then on I started to love them.

• 1 Bang Chan (방찬): Christopher Bang nació el 3 de octubre de 1997 en Corea. Es el líder del grupo, es rapero y parte de la subunidad llamada ¨3RACHA¨. Tiene doble nacionalidad ya que a la edad de 1 año su familia se mudó a Australia y fue ahí donde creció. Es conocido por ser una persona muy sincera y amigable. Además solía hacer un programa querido por muchos de sus fans llamado Chan's Room.

• 1 Bang Chan (방찬): Christopher Bang was born on October 3, 1997 in Korea. He is the leader of the group, he is a rapper and part of the subunit called ¨3RACHA¨. He has dual nationality since at the age of 1 year his family moved to Australia and it was there where he grew up. He is known for being a very sincere and friendly person. He also used to do a show loved by many of his fans called Chan's Room.

• 2 Lee Know (리노): Lee Min-ho nació el 25 de octubre de 1998. Es el segundo mayor del grupo. Es de los mejores bailarines del grupo. Fue bailarín de respaldo durante un tiempo, incluso participó en algunos conciertos de BTS. En el 2023 fue presentador de Show! Music Core junto a Kim Jungwoo de NCT y Kim Min-ju de IZ*ONE. Le gustan mucho los gatos, tiene 3 de mascota. También le gusta la pesca. incluso fue a un programa llamado ¨The Fishermen and the City¨ donde quedó en primer lugar capturando 11 peces.

• 2 Lee Know (리노): Lee Min-ho was born on October 25, 1998. He is the second oldest in the group. He is one of the best dancers in the group. He was a backup dancer for a while, even participated in some BTS concerts. In 2023, he hosted Show! Music Core along with NCT's Kim Jungwoo and IZ*ONE's Kim Min-ju. He likes cats very much, he has 3 pet cats. He also likes fishing. He even went to a program called ¨The Fishermen and the City¨ where he came in first place by catching 11 fishes.

• 3 Changbin (창빈): Seo Chang-bin nació el 11 de agosto de 1999 en Corea. Es parte del trio de raperos de Stray Kids 3RACHA. Una vez apareció como participante del programa King of Mask Singer, donde interpretó la canción «Tomorrow» de Tablo. Es el integrante al que más le gustan las coreografías de grupos de chicas. Además es muy cercano a Choi Yeonjun de TXT y a Jung Woo Young de Ateez.

• 3 Changbin (창빈): Seo Chang-bin was born on August 11, 1999 in Korea. He is part of the Stray Kids rap trio 3RACHA. He once appeared as a contestant of King of Mask Singer program, where he performed Tablo's song "Tomorrow". He is the member who likes girl group choreographies the most. He is also very close to TXT's Choi Yeonjun and Ateez's Jung Woo Young.

• 4 Hyunjin (현진): Hwang Hyun-jin nació el 20 de marzo de 2000. Fue reclutado por JYP debido a su linda cara pero Hyunjin quería hacer su debut no por su apariencia, sino por sus habilidades por lo que desde un principio se esforzó mucho en mejorar cada día, actualmente se considera el bailarín performance del grupo.

• 4 Hyunjin (현진): Hwang Hyun-jin was born on March 20, 2000. He was recruited by JYP because of his cute face but Hyunjin wanted to make his debut not for his looks, but for his skills so from the beginning he tried hard to improve every day, currently he is considered the performance dancer of the group.

• 5 Han (한): Han Ji-sung nació el 14 de septiembre de 2000. Forma parte del trio de raperos 3RACHA. Sus fanaticos dicen que parece una ardilla, Es bastante conocido por tener una dualidad vocal bastante buena y es que tiene estilo para rapear pero también es muy bueno cantando y lo ha demostrado en programas como Kingdom: Legendary War y LeeMujin Service.

• 5 Han (한): Han Ji-sung was born on September 14, 2000. He is part of the rap trio 3RACHA. His fans say that he looks like a squirrel. He is quite known for having a pretty good vocal duality and he has a style for rapping but he is also very good at singing and he has proved it in programs like Kingdom: Legendary War and LeeMujin Service.

• 6 Felix (필릭스): Felix Lee nació el 15 de septiembre de 2000 en Sídney. Tenía su propio programa llamado ¨Felix's Dance How To!¨ en donde enseñaba coreografías de diferentes grupos. El 7 de febrero de este año, Félix viajó a Laos en su tiempo libre para realizar trabajo voluntario con niños. Sus fanaticos le dicen de distintas formas, mi favorito es ¨Brownie Boy¨ ya que le gusta mucho la repostería y dicen que los brownies de feliz son bastante buenos. Se conoce por ser un chico bastante dulce y amable. En el programa de supervivencia no sabía casi nada de coreano cosa que le causó dificultades en el programa, pero, aún así por suerte pudo permanecer en el grupo.

• 6 Felix (필릭스): Felix Lee was born on September 15, 2000 in Sydney. He had his own program called ¨Felix's Dance How To!¨ where he taught choreographies of different groups. On February 7 of this year, Felix traveled to Laos in his spare time to do volunteer work with children. His fans call him by different names, my favorite is ¨Brownie Boy¨ since he loves baking and they say the brownies are pretty good. He is known for being a pretty sweet and nice guy. In the survival program he knew almost no Korean which caused him difficulties in the program, but luckily he was still able to stay in the group.

• 7 Seungmin (승민): Kim Seung-min nació el 22 de septiembre de 2000. Participó en el Soundtrack del drama El amor es como el chachachá con la canción ¨Here Always¨. También, en el programa ¨Kingdom: Legendary War¨ presentó u cover de la canción ¨Love poem¨ de IU junto a Choi Jong-ho de Ateez y Seo Eun-kwang de BtoB (una de mis presentaciones favoritas tengo que decir).

• 7 Seungmin (승민): Kim Seung-min was born on September 22, 2000. He participated in the soundtrack of the drama Love is like cha-cha-cha with the song ¨Here Always¨. Also, in the program ¨Kingdom: Legendary War¨ he performed a cover of the song ¨Love poem¨ of IU together with Choi Jong-ho of Ateez and Seo Eun-kwang of BtoB (one of my favorite performances I have to say).

• 8 I.N (아이엔): Yang Jeong-in nació el 8 de febrero de 2001. Es el más joven del grupo. Sus fanáticos dicen que parece un zorro. Apareció en el programa LeeMujin Service donde interpretó canciones como Perfect de 10CM.

• 8 I.N (아이엔): Yang Jeong-in was born on February 8, 2001. He is the youngest of the group. His fans say he looks like a fox. He appeared in LeeMujin Service program where he performed songs like Perfect by 10CM.
