Three Tunes Tuesday: On Repeat This Week
Happy Tuesday! Joining the #TTT or #ThreeTuneTuesday🤘🏻, thanks to @ablaze for coming up with this amazing idea.
Organizing is always more fun when there's a background music. There was a time when I'd spend 30 minutes just deciding what song or playlist to play before actually getting started 😂
The other day, while tidying up my desk and resetting my other laptop, I opened YouTube music. I had recently switched from Spotify to YouTube Premium, so now I can watch videos and listen to music ad-free 💓
At that moment, I knew exactly what I would like to listen to. These songs have been on repeat when I do random tasks.
🎶 Handlebars - Dua Lipa & Jennie

Dua Lipa and Jennie sound amazing together on Handlebars 🖤🖤 This song is part of Jennie's Ruby album, and honestly, I love seeing Blackpink members growing individually. I mean, look at Jennie, doing her thing with other artists!
This song has that addictive, catchy vibe. Most of the time I catch myself randomly singing 'I trip and fall in love, just like a Tuesday drunk..". This song is all about losing control and going all in into love, no matter the risks.
🎶 Giver - Chappell Roan

The first time I heard Giver, I thought, 'wow this is so fitting for Women’s Month!' But after properly listening to the lyrics, I couldn’t help but giggle 😂 Chappell Roan, you got me!
There are only a few artists whose songs I never skip, and Chappell is one of them. She has this way with words and her songs are catchy. I love how she tried it with country vibes for this song. At first, I thought she was switching genres, but in an interview, she mentioned this was just for the fun of it. Part of me wishes she'd do more country songs, though!

And it shows just how much He is miraculous

Someone dear to me played this song and told me it's her kind of praise and worship song. It's living in my head rent free. It’s a bit ironic that this song comes from Kanye West (iykwim) but at the end of the day, it’s the message that counts!

I keep on seeing Chappell Roan's songs (yep ty IG lol) and I think there was one song I find cringe maybe only because I kept hearing it everywhere haha. But her singing technique is really good and saw some clips of her live. Her songs also seem to have double meaning and this is one of them haha
