The KCWH #1 Contribution to Three Tune Tuesday!

What's KCWH?

Everyday during the Co-Working Sessions for Hive, there are two consecutive live sessions. First, Creative Work Hour and second, Practice Not Perfect. We run music conducive to flow and feature segue tunes between these two sessions that we call the Rock-n-Roll Break. We refer to the music being broadcast as KCWH. So, it makes perfect sense that we make a formal connection with #threetunetuesday. Today is the day we kick it off!

Here are Our Three Tunes

"Hey Boy" by BriJean

BriJean is the LA-based duo of Briana Merela and Doug Stuart. They blend silky electronic grooves with a distinct visual voice. Brianna isn't just the vocalist and producer, she is also the project's Art Director, too! "Hey Boy" is a perfect example that shows the look, sound, and feel show of the duo's polymathy across creative platforms and milieu.

"Everything's Good" by Phil Good

Phil Good, found at Philgoodmusic, makes a kind of pop that understands mood as an infrastructure. The track "Everything's Good" is a small yet deliberate act of optimism. It's bright, clean and emotionally buoyant without going saccharine.

"I Won't Let You Down" by OK Go

OK Go's "I Won't Let You Down" is joyful systems design graphically wrapped up in a pop song. There's choreography, technology, and synchrony for which they've long been known. Remember the treadmill video of Here It Goes Again? This 2014 project is playful, precise, and oh-so-human. Pure joy!

Who Are CWH and What We Do

Creative Work Hour is a community, a creative incubator, and a daily HIVE-staking project. We have hosted more than 3000 events since founded by @alessandrawhite on 1 July, 2021. Every single day we host no fewer than three events.

The first, #cuppajoe is a casual hang out, a coffee break. The second, Creative Work Hour #cwh is our flagship event that powers up daily. The third, Practice Not Perfect #pnp is our bonus event designed for muted music practice and for creative work to continue.
