Taj Mahal for this #ttt

Hello, Hivers and Music lovers!
I’ve lost track of whether it’s been months or weeks since I last posted on Hive. I’ve been really busy in real life lately, and I’ll get back to catching up here soon, but today is about sharing some music for #ttt.
At the beginning of the month, my husband and I traveled to Chicago to attend our son’s college graduation. The city has an incredible atmosphere in the summer, with festivals and concerts in the parks and neighborhoods, and we were very lucky that our visit coincided with the Chicago Blues Festival, an event featuring renowned blues artists and held in one of the city’s most iconic parks: Millennium Park. We went on Sunday, June 7—the festival’s closing day—since the artist to close the event was blues legend Taj Mahal.
If you like the blues, Taj Mahal needs no introduction. This American singer, who is now more than 80s, continues to sing and play with great energy, and it was amazing to see him live. And at a free concert. It was an opportunity we couldn't pass up. My husband is a huge blues fan.
So this Tuesday, I’m sharing three of his best-known songs and my personal favorites.

But before I get into the tunes, let me give you a little background if you are new to Hive and aren't familiar with #threetunetuesday. In the words of @ablaze who initiate it:
The jist is as follows
Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #threetunetuesday tag that would be great, as that is what I use when sifting through all the entries every Wednesday. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize - more on that later.
You can find out more at The Prodigy for Three Tune Tuesday - Week 265 - win some HBI with his recommendations for this week.
Don't forget to support @ablaze's and if you would like to become a sponsor of #ttt like me, give him a shout out. And speaking of sponsors, I'm running a little late sending out the HBI for the latest winners, but I promise to catch up within the next days.
And now without further ado, let's go with my tunes for this week.
Tune 1 - Taj Mahal - She Caught The Katy
She Caught the Katy and Left Me a Mule to Ride. Taj Mahal wrote this song in 1968, but it became much more famous in the 1980s because it was featured on the soundtrack of the film The Blues Brothers.
Tune 2 - Taj Mahal - Queen Bee
The following song is one of Taj Mahal's most famous and one of my favorites from his repertoire. The song Queen Bee is from 1997.
At the concert, one of the best moments for me was hearing this song performed live by the legendary blues singer and dance with my husband.
Tune 3 - Taj Mahal - Lovin' in My Baby's Eyes
Another song that has become a blues classic is
Lovin' in My Baby's Eyes. It’s a beautiful ballad that Taj Mahal released in 1996 and wrote for his daughter.
We had a wonderful evening at an incredible venue, the Jay Pritzker Pavilion. During the concert, the stage lights changed colors, let me show you.

I'm team blue, and you?
Have you listened to the legendary Taj Mahal before? If you liked the songs, which one did you like the most? Tell me in the comments.
Thank you very much for reading!
Enjoy the music, and enjoy life!

The second one is my favorite, too. It might sound familiar to you because, even if you don't remember it, you may have heard it somewhere.
