The Verve - Bitter Sweet Symphony Vocal Cover by @carminasalazarte
Greetings to everyone in the Music community! Today I'm joining you here to share a new music cover with you. This time it's one of the best songs of the 90s (at least in my opinion), “Bitter Sweet Symphony” by the band “The Verve.” Released in 1997, the song became hugely popular internationally thanks to its beautiful melody (a unique voice and an unforgettable orchestra), as well as its honest and challenging lyrics. It quickly became an anthem for that generation and those that followed. The reason it's so good is because we can all relate to its lyrics, which deal with very human situations.
Serving as a social critique, the lyrics speak to us about the complexity of human beings who, existing in society, must carve out a place for themselves in the world and, in doing so, often find their integrity and value as individuals vulnerable. This raises the question of whether or not to conform to the demands (or rather the need to belong) of society. However, how can one be genuine and at the same time the same as others? In any case, the lyrics also tell us that, faced with this situation, it is difficult to be in such a contradictory world. Although change is necessary and always possible, and although existing can be overwhelming, sometimes painful and difficult, the truth is that it is worth a thousand times over to stay alive for all the goodness that comes with accepting this experience. That is why life is a bittersweet harmony. I remember hearing this song as a child and feeling adrenaline, even though I did not understand the lyrics. Now that I am older and understand its meaning, I find it even more meaningful. I hope you enjoy my interpretation of this song.
¡Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Music! El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes un nuevo cover musical. En esta ocasión se trata de una de las mejores canciones de los 90's (al menos en mi opinión), se trata pues de "Bitter Sweet Symphony" del grupo "The Verve". Lanzada en el año 1997, la canción se popularizó grandemente a nivel internacional por su preciosa melodía (una voz unica y una orquesta inolvidable), así cómo por su letra honesta y desafiante. Convirtiéndose rápidamente en un himno para esa y las generaciones siguientes. La razón por la cual también es tan buena, es porque todos podemos sentirnos identificados con su letra que trata sobre situaciones muy humanas.
Sirviendo cómo una denuncia social, la letra nos habla sobre la complejidad del ser humano que al existir en sociedad, debe hacerse de un lugar en el mundo y con ello, se ve (muchas) veces vulnerable su integridad y valor cómo persona. Lo que plantea el hecho de amoldarse o no dentro de las exigencias (o más bien la necesidad de pertenecer) de la sociedad. Sin embargo, ¿cómo se puede ser genuino y al mismo tiempo igual a los otros? en todo caso, la letra también nos indica que, frente a esa situación, es difícil ser/estar en un mundo tan contradictorio. Aunque cambiar es algo necesario y siempre, se puede cambiar. Y aunque existir puede ser abrumador, a veces doloroso y difícil, lo cierto es que vale mil veces la pena seguir vivo por todas las bondades que conlleva aceptar esta experiencia. De allí que la vida sea una sintonía agridulce. Recuerdo de niña escuchar esta canción y sentir adrenalina, aunque no entendía la letra. Hoy ya más grande, sabiendo bien su contenido, la encuentro aún más significativa. Espero que disfruten de esta, mi interpretación de este tema.

WOW - although quite different to the original - you managed to create a pretty cool version of this song. It isn't an easy one, that is for sure, though I am not at all a singer. I managed to screw up the most simple of the simplest songs 😆 NJOY Xmas!
