Enthralling Chinese music.

There's this sort of peace I feel when singing or listening to ancient music. There's always a beauty attached to both, which have now become a bigger part of me.

Going for Chinese music today just happened. I wasn't sure which one I'd go for when I took a walk out this morning. But as it seems, just a sound was enough to get me hooked in the musical world.

Tong Li was the first Chinese song shown on my first page on YouTube, and a click on the play button warmed my heart. How gently the ancient instruments played in the background reminded me of a lot of childhood memories I got from watching Chinese movies.

I love the movement of the dancers' bodies to the song. The dance scenes shown are elegant and super interesting to watch.

"You don't belong to me" is another song that caught my attention. And I do believe there's a lot that statement taught us. Sometimes, we find it hard to let go of things, which in turn hurt us. Some things are better left alone even if it hurts us. We need to learn to let go sometimes to be able to heal.

Letting go to let whatever or whoever we are holding on breathe. Sometimes, our love or attention can be suffocating. Keeping a bird caged forever won't let it remember it is meant to fly. So, when it is time to let go, be sure to do that. Of course, it won't be easy. If it was, then it isn't meant to be. If it were easy, then it never mattered in the first place.

I couldn't help myself from going for traditional songs again when I found another. I am addicted to traditional settings, and it can't be helped.

Calmly listening to songs like this helps rejuvenate the body and soul. So, when you find yourself bothered and you got hooked on Chinese song, you can go for their traditional songs.

I couldn't help but not add this to my music list. It relaxes the body, and the flute is well played. It brings tears and memories, yet calming. Exactly what I need to help me relax better as the sound of rain adds more tunes to it.

Thanks for reading and listening.

Peace be unto those who crave it and more to those who chase it away.

What great videos, the truth is that I haven't stopped to listen to any oriental songs, but what I do feel, the little that I have, is tranquility. Thank you very much for this post.
