Surprise Concert

I love Paris, even though I wouldn't want to live there. My wife used to live in Paris, and we had to choose between Paris and Munich. We decided on Munich. In addition to old Paris, which is truly charming, there are also modern places like the Centre Pompidou art center, which is very centrally located. In addition to many exhibitions, numerous concerts are also held there. Now it will be closed for a while for renovation. The last concert featured a big surprise: Thomas Bangalter, one half of Daft Punk, was there and DJed. Thomas hasn't DJed since Daft Punk announced their official breakup in 2021.

Ich liebe Paris, auch wenn ich dort nicht wohnen würde. Meine Frau hat in Paris gelebt und wir mussten uns zwischen Paris und München entscheiden. Wir haben uns für München entschieden. Neben dem alten Paris, das wirklich Charme hat, gibt es auch moderne Plätze wie das Kunstzentrum Centre Pompidou, das sehr zentral gelegen ist. Dort finden neben vielen Ausstellungen auch zahlreiche Konzerte statt. Jetzt wird es in eine Pause gehen, da es saniert wird. Beim letzten Konzert gab es eine große Überraschung: Thomas Bangalter, eine Hälfte von Daft Punk, war dabei und hat aufgelegt. Seit Daft Punk 2021 ihre offizielle Auflösung bekannt gegeben hat, hat Thomas nicht mehr aufgelegt.
Von der französischen Elektroszene sind Daft Punk meine Favoriten. Ich mag auch andere Projekte wie M83, Kavinsky oder Air. Oder die Klassiker, die @uwelang kennt, wie Jean-Michel Jarre oder B.B.E.. Für mich ist Daft Punk ein Kunstprojekt, denn deren Musik enthält verschiedene Elemente, wie zum Beispiel Funk. Sie haben auch Filme gemacht, die mit ihrer Musik verbunden sind, wie „Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem” oder „Electroma”. Kennt ihr Daft Punk? Wart ihr schon einmal im Centre Pompidou?
