CONCERT FOOTAGE and 4 String BassCam REVENGE FLASHBACK!

This is a 4 String bass REVENGE upon some of the same songs in the previous video series.

Dare to compare (not a double post).

This is probably the second song of the concert. We played this song at the recent outdoor concert also. I used a 5 string bass. These big band-ish or swing era tunes are fun on both bass guitars. The funky stuff is different. Specific, complex, and rapid parts are difficult on for me my 5-string. Maybe I'll change it... maybe I'll keep it the factory setup for another year or two.

“Factory set up”, did that make you cringe? Me too.

This FLASHBACK song is called “Things Aint What They Use To Be.”**

This song is a classic big band tune. Lots of note reading or… make it up and pretend your not soloing over chord changes the entire song. Bass is fun.

This time it's a little different because I just finished playing the song on a more restricting instrument than I am in today's video post.

I don't have a link featuring the previous performance to share yet. If you jump back in my list of videos, you will see an outdoor performance featuring this song. It probably posted just a few days ago/within the week. In it, I'm using a white bass guitar. It has 5 strings.

This is the start of a new concert video series from April 24 2024.

I'm currently creating and scheduling this post from your past. It's now Oct 15 2025 for me.
