Solve The Riddle & Win 250 Ecency Points [#TTT Week 20] - "It´s all so Glassy"

glow (2).jpg

The Tune Tune Train keeps rolling:

The Tune Tune Train is a challenge I came up with based on the Three Tunes Tuesday format. It´s a TTT with a riddle!

How does it work?

I will give you three great songs and you can win a $1 Ecency boost if you tell me what connects the songs.
A connection can be: they are all about flowers, they have the same drummer, they all sing about Pink Mushrooms, or they are all kids from famous parents. Just to give an idea of what a connection might be.

It´s up to you Dear Reader to figure out what connects the Tune Tune Train. The first one who drops the solution in the comments gets a $1 boost Nope no more Ecency Boosts. Sorry y´all but #Ecency is no longer giving away those sweet $1 upvotes. Still big thanks to all of us that won them or gave them away.

So What Now?

Now I will have to give away even more Ecency points to the weekly winner as I plan to give a 250 Ecency points boost every week to the first one that sees the connection.

So If you win your next post will be promoted or you have to option to receive 250 Ecency points for you to spend how you like, boosting your content, my content, shit content, or saving up for any of the other Ecency Perks.

And of course, it´s about playing, and the honor of winning not the prices (uhu)

And these were last week's songs:

The Velvet Underground - I´ll be your mirror
Diana Ross and The Supremes: Reflections
Direct - Through The Looking Glass

We Have A Winner

I made it so easy, I almost spelled it out for you, oh I did spell it out.

Hence The Title; Spitting Image
And the Hint for the connoisseurs; en-contrary

Of course, the answer was mirror all songs are about mirrors so I could plug my latest book Beyond the Looking Glass

Here we go again!

All Aboard!

The Tune Tune Train is Taking Off!
Are You Ready To Riddle?

Last week I had a reason and this week I have another reason, a very good reason, one of my favorite reasons:

Now what could make up a riddle using that simple song??
But I ended up somewhere in the middle:

Going nowhere, just playing what I think are cool songs and saying this is me:

Here, Have A Clue

Big Bad World

If you still have no clue, and nobody else does there will be another hint this Friday.

Let me know in the comments if you figure out what connects these three songs. If you need another hint, check out my Midnight Gems Session this Friday!

The connection and winner will be featured in next week's #TTT

Jimmy Eat World.... Nice.... Have not heard them in a while... Hear You Me always reminds me of my Granny's funeral as my cousin sang this song for her and an another cousin sang Songbird by Fleetwood Mac. Gorgeous and fitting....

Are they all about being yourself and self acceptance?

I'm late to the party, but I've got nothing this week. The Middle is an awesome song though. It's one of those that you can't help but crank up when it comes on. Love it!

Ablaze was close but not spot on so you might be able to fine tune the answer and it's great to see that Jimmy EW is still loved like that....they were one of those bands I would play every Friday when I was still cool 😎

It's the Middle that is throwing me. It's all about being positive and everything being all right, but I don't see how that fits with the other part. Broken hearts will heal or something about a positive image maybe...

Theme songs or songs showcased in other media.

Castle of Glass was used as a promotional song for a game Medal of Honor: Warfighter
The Middle was intro for the the show The Middle
This is me was from Camp rock (and by name alone there is a This is me in "The Greatest Showman")
Big Bad world is a show.
And of course Cheers is a great show.

But I cannot fit Glassy :( So will try one more answer if this is wrong.

One more answer:
Is it shelter from the big bad world in a cosy pub/bar, where everone knows your name.
In castle of glass they speak about not being whole and needing to enter the dream.
The middle is all about not worrying when things are going wrong in the middle, everything will be all right.
And in this is me, despite apprehensions, Demi is sure that she is the exactly the right place where she is supposed to be. Where she does not have to hide who she is, where she is comfortable.

And Cheers intro reminds us that such a place exists, where we can leave the BIG BAD WORld outside and go to a place where everyone knows you and you can be yourself and relax for a bit drinking something out of a container Glassy :)
