My musical memories 🎼

First memories

Hello friend of Q Inspired-by-Music welcome to my blog, maybe you are one of those who have among their first musical memories, children's songs, those used in children's parties, in my case my first memories are full of passion and heartbreak hehehehehe I'm about to think that the music I listened to at my 2 or 3 years mark the fate of my love life, the fact is that when I was that age the singers became famous only through television which was the only means of recreation of the common citizen.

In the 80's in Latin America the singer Amanda Miguel was in fashion with the pop genre, her lyrics were focused on spite and deception and a song went viral and was heard everywhere getting into the minds of young and old, As I was learning to speak I began to sing several of their songs which my parents found funny and they gave me those records, specifically they bought them for me, which came in acetate presentation, My mom tells me that some of the songs caused me fear to the point of running away because the singer screamed and cried, but then I ended up singing.

I still like this song, part of the lyrics says "he lied to me, he told me he loved me and it wasn't true, he lied to me, he never loved me" how strong those lyrics for a baby, but well, I still like it and I even sang it and made a post with it, I leave you the link so you know what it is.

I do not want to judge my parents, who did the best they could with the knowledge they had full of love for me, I think it would have been better to buy records with classical or instrumental music for a child, but it was not the music they listened or knew, today parents have many options to stimulate the hearing and speech of their little ones and there are also melodies to harmonize the environment as those used in Feng Shui, with sounds of nature, water running in rivers, breeze passing through bamboo, among others.

I still have these records stored in the baskets that my dad has, today I brought you the one of Amanda Miguel and also the one of Yuri that I liked simply for the drawing of its cover, a nice bicycle, I have several acetate discs that are part of my musical memories and in my adolescence the ones of the group menudo stood out, there I knew the love of the fans for their artists.

My crush of adolescence

As you can see on the cover I am kissing my boyfriend Robert, I think that was his stage name, of all those who were part of the group, he was the one who seemed to me more beautiful and less pretentious, I liked him and he was the lucky one to receive my kisses and admiration. This musical group lasted many years, they were focused on the youth population and every time they released a new LP there were new younger members injecting popularity. My God, this musical vocabulary is from the prehistoric era.

I liked the fact that these albums had a songbook inside, which was a printed paper with the lyrics of all the songs so it was easier to learn them, I would read them while listening to the album. To be honest, I didn't like her songs very much, I mean the lyrics, as for the melody I found it more pleasant, my often mania passed to a third place when Shakira came into my life and with her the cd's, but I will continue that story in a future publication.

Do you have any musical memories from your childhood, I'd like to know them in the comments, we'll read each other.

Greetings @soyunasantacruz, I have to confess that when I saw the cover "Don't cut my hair" I jumped immediately to see and read your post. Menudo for me and my sister was reference and menudomania in all its expressions.

hehehehe you said he's lost his mind, he's gone crazy.

Now the young people of this generation as they have no reference of American groups, they focus on Korean or Japanese groups without understanding the lyrics, it doesn't matter anymore.

I hope you enjoyed the trip to the past, thanks for stopping by. @lduranjwp

😅🤭😜 He wanted to keep our relationship a secret but I couldn't handle the excitement and exposed it on hive.

Thanks it's not the first one, there was one a long time ago with my four and another one about Christmas memories.

I think this is my third post in the community but it's been a while since it happened.

I'll be back with Shakira's story and so on until I get to the current age, from the stone age to today 😁.

It was nice to greet you @mipiano

Smiles. Should I apologize on behalf of your parents for the kind of songs you were exposed to?

I'm sorry I won't because I can relate. My parents exposed me to war songs, and any of those songs that express the suffering of mankind especially when they have bad government.

It was down the line when my siblings came that we started having access to children's musicals and it was indeed a refreshing breath of energy in my family.

Thank you for sharing your childhood memories around Music, artists, and family with us. Now I'll always remember to be mindful of the selected songs in my home when I have a family too.

😆😅 Hi just hope your spirit invites you to live in peace.

They say the first 5 years are crucial to form habits and good mental programming, so everything we hear and see will influence us.

Thanks for leaving your thoughts, cheers. @iskawrites

I just commented on a very nice post about another girl in this community, and all of a sudden, wham, I run into you...What an excellent surprise. I love that there are so many girls in this community and that we can talk about what we are most passionate about: music and how it relates to us. @soyunasantacruz
