"Three Tune Tuesday Week 98" Three tunes and three bonus tracks without much fanfare.

Alright! today is Tuesday and with it a new trio of my old tunes plus a trio of bonus tracks are in order for the Week 98 of the Three Tune Tuesday initiative of our friend @ablaze. ¿And why a sextet of tunes this time you may ask? Well, simple. Because since week 92 I haven't published any new song for these lonely #ttt Tuesdays of mine and as you can imagine I should make up for that lack in some way. ¿It isn't right?

Well, in any case and for my non-existent audience who apparently do not want to watch, listen, enjoy and interact with my #ttts of Tuesdays anymore. Today I just decided to introduce you to an old musician that I like a lot and that you won't necessarily like. But for the same reason, I have decided to punish you with a quartet of his good blues songs in this post. Well yeah, only four, just in case you also want to see him live with his band on stage by clicking here. The rest of his tunes that I compile here are more for the lyrics and his message more than anything else.

So without much fanfare as I announced before, I present to you below to my pal:

«OTIS TAYLOR»

«Bonus Track I»

«Bonus Track II»

«Bonus Track III»

Bonus Message:

I don"t wanna meet, anymore, heartache people
No, no, no, no more heartache people, in my life
You know they"re always stopping me on the street,
Telling me they"re gonna make it, this time
And all the time, oh, you know, it"s a lie
The good hand of fortune, oh never touched me
Yes they're"ve always had something to work out, oh, in their lives
Yes and the things they never could see, oh, always catches them
Yes and I never heard of anybody offering them, oh, no compromise
They"re gonna wake you up, at four-fifteen in the morning
Yes with this crazy wild and haunted look, oh, in their eyes
They"re always playing this brandnew tune, oh, that"s just for men
Yes and they just wont stop until you, no, 'til it's realized
I don"t wanna meet, I don"t wanna meet, no no no no more
Heartache people, no no no no no
I don"t wanna meet,
I don"t wanna meet, I don"t wanna meet, no no no no more
Heartache people, in my life, in my life, in my life
They"re always in the room, when the cops break the door down
Yes and it"s easy to spot them standing, oh, at the end of the line
Yes and the lawyer they always hire, that's the fall go down
Yes and the doctor they desperately need, oh never finds the time
I don"t wanna meet, I don"t wanna meet, no no no no more
Heartache people no no no no no
I don"t wanna meet, I don"t wanna meet,
I don"t wanna meet, no no no no no more
Heartache people, in my life, in my life, in my life
Strung out all along the highway, strung out all along the highway
Strung out all, strung out, strung out, strung out, strung out,
Strung out, strung out,
Strung out all along the highway, highway, for the heartache people

Yeah, until one of these next Tuesdays folks!

I welcome myself to your non-existent audience list.

Great picks. I love his voice, and the strings, just like the oldies, my dad always loved.

Nothing more than for having said that, you are already one of my favorites in the list of my non-existent audience. :)

And therefore, I'm glad you enjoyed my tune selections on this occasion. And by the way, please tell your father that he has always been a wise man with great taste in music.

Dang! "Twelve String Mile" is a strong opening!
After reading your latest post and watching the (short) movies in the post and comment section, I needed music. Otis to the rescue, so to speak ;)
