Well, my dear readers, the truth is I don't know how old you are. Or where you're from, what country you were born in, or what culture you grew up in. But whatever the case, I dare to bet that the vast majority of you here are from the MTV generation at least. And when I say the MTV generation, I'm referring to the Millennials.

But more specifically I am referring to those Millennials of the MTV generation who, apart from being so lucky of enjoying music in audiovisual format 24 hours a day. These youngsters were already beginning to become teenage rebels in their sweet sixteens when the first Tamagotchis appeared and the television network MTV began its free fall into decadence by filling its content spaces with only pure Reality Shows.

Yeah, I'm talking here about those young spoiled brats in their Super Sweet Sixteen that at such a young age they already believed they knew and deserved everything. That the world around them was rosy and would always be rosy. That they didn't have to know or have to bother trying to figure out why they were so lucky to enjoy everything they enjoyed or where everything they had and enjoyed came from. Those who thought they would never have to work to possess, maintain, and keep everything they had, but by themselves. Yeah, these lucky brats indeed needed a true Reality Show Check.

And yeah, I'm referring to these Hive users here, who when teenagers, surely enjoyed too much and remember very well those old memorable MTV shows like:

  1. Beavis and Butt-Head
  2. Æon Flux
  3. Celebrity Deathmatch
  4. Daria
  5. Jackass
  6. Punk’d
  7. MTV Cribs
  8. The Osbournes
  9. Jersey Shore
  10. Even some episodes from the "Real World" show, only because of its longevity.

But who, however. I have the hunch that these same BroZone users of Hive now. Most of them don't remember as well or enjoyed as much these other also memorable old Reality Shows of the MTV network:

  1. Parental Control
  2. World's Strictest Parents
  3. My Super Sweet 16: "Exiled"
  4. 16 And Pregnant
  5. and/or "Wife Swap"

And since I indeed enjoyed and remember these last five shows very well. Given that by then I was already a mature adult and a married man with children. Today I had the intention to share with you some video snippets from one of these shows in particular which was the one that really provided me with the inspiration to write this long & weird post.

The relevant videoclips I really wanted to share with you are the ones from the MTV Reality Show "EXILED" which appears as the third on this last list. But which curiously, and for some strange reason, I found it extremely difficult to find online trailers or video clips to share with you here. So I recommend that you look for them by yourself. Or if the curiosity kills you and you are willing to pay Amazon $10.89 for the whole first season of 10 episodes. Go ahead! I highly recommend them all.

On other hand, of course there were thousands of other MTV Reality Shows that you don't remember and a few others that you might remember. But since I didn't get the trailers of the one that I really wanted to share with you. I'm gonna share then the trailers of the last Reality Show in the list; "Wife Swap" which for the purpose, is also relevant and useful for what I wanted to show you and convey to you today, youngsters.

And last but not least. Just to tell you that this is also a "Three Tune Tuesday" musical post. Since I started writing it yesterday, but due to having suffered 3 long and consecutive power outages while writing it, I didn't have the chance to publish it until now. So, I invite you all to «click» on everything «clickable» in this post and I assure you that you will find at least three new tunes you didn't know about but would like to hear about.

So, thank you very much for your attention and patience. And I look forward to seeing you in a next post to embark us on a new and fascinating "musical" journey of reflection, education and learning. Cya later!
