A motorcycle ride? No kidding?
It is funny that while some friends from Pinar del Río shared yesterday their walk through Havana, I was searching among my things to bring you here, not a walk, but a motorcycle ride, there in their city.
I know this is the inspired corner and it seems like every time I fail to post on the Wednesday walk I end up here. Why this happens?, I don't know.
Well... now, my participation here just became legit because that line I was writing reminded me of that song. But let's go on... of course this post going to end up in music, but not the ones I like, but the ones my friend likes.
The truth is that I don't usually ride motorcycles because I honestly I hate them. So only when every time I go to visit her in the westernmost province of Cuba, I have to hold on tight to her waist.
She laughs with me because always the moment of getting on her mode of transportation is hilariou; I count, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5... she doesn't really know when I will jump in. Because at first it was only up to 3, but then, the numbers have been growing. I think it's a matter of giving her more time, with tense muscles (hahaha).
@mipiano, you reminded me, about counting with your post about the plank, that's why I came here to talk a little bit about nonsense and spread some vibes - 🙃 #stv.
My friend always has such a positive attitude in life, it is truly a privilege to be around her. Look, I have many things to tell you about this visit of mine to Pinar, but let's go in parts, so that you can enjoy the experience, with intensity.

When I think of my friend and the music, I immediately remember that she loves Brazilian sonorities. Ever since we were in college she has been like that. I'm not saying she doesn't like other genres, but Bossa Nova, I know she is fascinated by it. I asked her: Li, what music do you think goes here in that sticky situation where I squeeze you around the waist so I don't fall? And she answered me: Samba e amor, by Chico Buarque? 🤣
You know, morí. Because she's my best friend and she knows everything about me. Then she added: What's more, Chico Buarque dedicated that song to you, it's a portrait of nanixxx.
I would speak to you a bit in English to describe the video but are you sure you want to? I'd better save myself for the future. I have stage fright.
This character perfectly describes the situation I would find myself in if I had to speak in English to a large audience.
Bacalao con pan (Cod with bread) is a theme that she likes very much. She says it has a great intro and that this stroll through the city could very well have this music in the background.
But now, we have to present this video in which there are two horses and one of them is white. That's the one I like the most because I can go further with it. And you, which one do you like?😉
I think this song comes like a glove. If you like to dance and fill yourself with good energy, just let it play.

I was watching the video thinking, hmm, there's not a lot of cars, and then I see a fucken saddled horse (not something I see around my city) and some wacky three-wheeled things and I'm like, yeah, that's different.
I like the murals, very colourful indeed. That's my impression of Cuba, gained through movies I suppose, that it's colourful and vibrant in a sort of eclectic way.
Nice background music, chilled and funky.
And the other horse, didn't you see it? the white one? There is less traffic in Pinar del Río than in Havana.

What a nice ride, although I don't like motorbikes either hahaha when I went with my friend on one of those beach ATVs, because she lives in a city in Argentina with a beach, she used to hold me tight hahaha

Es curioso, me sucedió lo mismo con el vídeo que hizo Eduardo (El Chino). Él habla tan bonito de La Habana, se emociona y sus palabras me tocan con esa emoción. Mientras lo miraba, me di cuenta que la rutina nos deja ciegos a veces. No podemos permitirlo. Tenemos siempre muchas cosas maravillosas que disfrutar en nuestros espacios cotidianos.

oh @nanixxx I do like to ride a motorcycle but I don't have one. In any case, and continuing with the idea that I got from your post, I am forcing myself daily to face things that are not pleasant to me. as @mipiano says: it is the mind that must win the game

La historia hila perfectamente entre la música y las imágenes del mural. Tu odias las motos a mi me encantan, recordé a mi papá cuando nos llevaba a la universidad o al trabajo temprano, solíamos maquillar en la moto... 😁

Bueno, lo de las motos es porque las percibo demasiado inseguras. Caerse de una moto es tremendo. Yo tuve una y no disfruté la experiencia. Tal vez necesitaba una más potente. En la calle los choferes abusan de los motociclistas.

Where was I six days ago? How did I miss this post? This mural is my favorite one in the city, and there's several ones, I made a post about them some time ago. The girl in the post reminds me of my favorite character from the Powerpuff girls: Bubbles 😊.
