That kid waving at me in the distance when he saw me coming back from my walk today is the protagonist of this story. Or I don't know if it's the ladybug. 😁 The fact is that, for days, I wanted to wake up this wonderful Challenge Not Challenge from its lethargy. I'm talking about #spreadthevibes. Let's see how one thing leads to another, and this is something creative that came up, just now I saw it while downloading the photos I took during my short outing and so I write it down for all of you.

Let's start with the fact that I haven't left the house for almost 11 days. I was on ‘absolute’ rest. And I say ‘almost’ because sometimes I went for a walk around my neighbourhood, but today was the longest one. I went as far as the bridge on the highway leading to Pinar del Río, the westernmost province of Cuba. 😀 I didn't count the steps but it's not far off... 🤐

After wandering around Hive and reading interesting posts that even led me to do some research, I felt a huge urge to drink a hibiscus tea almost at the end of that virtual tour... but I only delayed it a little. I wanted to go first to visit the Carolinas tree or Clavelinas, who knows anymore 🤣, that I saw in bloom a few days ago. On the other hand, I have to try the manual mode of my camera. It has to keep fighting by my side.

Of course, I made my tea when I returned and it was the protagonist of this story himself who handed me the flowers. Note in the first photo above that there are hibiscus flowers there, also known as cayenne.

As you can see the moderator of this community has already spread some vibes, I made myself some tea. They say that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, so.... Joke. 🤣 My mother and grandma, when my sister and I had a cough, used to put some hibiscus flowers in the infusion they made us to soothe us. I know that this tea can be consumed and is very good. Maybe soon with this tea theme something else will appear... I was thinking of participating in that other challenge from the Collectors corner. But now let's concentrate on what we are dealing with here.

What happened was, as I told you at the beginning, on my return from that walk where my friend Panasonic and I talked a lot, my neighbour, that little boy, came out to meet me to show me something he had made out of a piece of paper. Things that reminded me of my childhood. When he saw me walking a little further from my house in search of more challenges for the Lumix, he accompanied me with his incessant chatter. 😑 Hahaha... and there I stopped in a place where there shouldn't be a rubbish dump, but people are undisciplined and unconscious.

Children are like sponges, and they learn very quickly. A few days ago I was talking to my neighbours and friends about how annoying it makes me feel to see children dancing to reggaeton or singing one of those horrible songs... with lyrics that are... I have no words to express what they are.

There are so many beautiful children's songs... for example this one. Here are three versions performed by different singer-songwriters. The author of this song is her, Teresita Fernández.

So, that's it. It's an all-inclusive post as lady hibiscus was the one who also reminded me of ladybug.... or ladybug reminded me of hibiscus tea.... ay I don't know, it's a mess, but this post has music, pictures, videos and good vibes.

As life is, in this video what shines is that little bug, the ladybird, as if it were giving light on the dark road.

I didn't know that you could make tea with that plant and that it was useful for coughs, if you knew about oregano for that, that's a good piece of information.

And on the other hand, the pancakes reminded me of other times and that I learnt to make them from my grandmother.

It is true that nobody wants to look at the rubbish dumps but they are there, but there may be hope there. Your post is very inspiring, I love it. Thank you so much!🤗

The sort of song I hear children sing these days is just really disturbing. It gives me more concern when I see them dancing to these songs too. It's quite sad how it seems good old nursery rhymes back in the days are rarely sung these days. Wonderful video by the way, giving me a vibe from some parts of Nigeria... From the grass to the dump, to the Banana plants, funny how that seem to be the trade mark of underveloping countries.

That's right... but there is so much green and natural beauty, isn't there? What happens is that people don't feel loved or important and the way they feel is reflected outwards. It's not everything that happens in our countries, but a very important part of it.

Yeah we enjoy nature a lot and I love that aspect. You sure got that right, whatever we feel is reflected outwards and forms our look, physique and environment. Surely would enjoy my tea or juice 😉

I will try to listen to the songs, though time is running faster than me, but already seeing the name of Liuba, I know they are good choices. Such a pity that people throw garbage everywhere ( I mean everywhere in the world, it is an issue) - it is a sin in such a nice place and surrounded by greenery. It always makes me sad; just creating something better out ot that is great, as you did. Btw, for several days, or maybe a week or more, I have in my draft a photo of a bin and wanted to write about the topic of recycling and how garbage is disposed of in Spain, whether it is recycled, and whether we know which container belongs to what. It is still there without a word, it was meant to go to the Hive Spain community in my case.

Good morning, @enraizar. I have two hibiscus planted in a side hallway of my house. But I don't make tea from this one, I use the red one. I brought these from Artemisa, where my grandmother lives. I planted them with two cuttings and they grew very well. They bloom all year round.
