It is all about the perfect one, but then, is there really a perfect one? In truth, love is a beautiful thing; I have come to realize that through my experiences. Although I have not settled yet, the care I receive from her is something I would never trade for anything. I have always loved the song 'At My Worst' by Pink Sweat$, but I used to listen to it as a mere wish, never really thinking that wishes of this nature could come true.

Pink Sweat$ is completely right: there is no perfection anywhere, but there is true love, and that I have found. Her name is Juliet, and she is the best thing that has so far happened to me. Pardon my manners, but I am afraid I will be burdening you with my love stories this time. I only beg that you give me the privilege of going through it.

A little story about us...

Having schooled in Ibadan, I had so many friends there. Juliet was never one of them, but fate still found a way to bring us together. On a faithful evening, I decided to scroll through my friend request on Facebook to see if there are new friends to add to my list of friend. As part of my principle, I only accept those I know in real life as friends on Facebook as at that time, but somehow I decided to accept Juliet who live in Ibadan. It turned out she became the most beautiful thing that ever happened to me. There are so much to how we started talking and how we finally fell in love, but that will be story for another day.

The memories of our time together and what we have shared certainly put a smile on my face each time they come to mind, but what amuses me the most is how we actually met. The fact that my ideology was completely disproven by my own actions. Sometimes, I sit back and smile to myself, fondly remembering it. It was the case that I believed no good relationships could come out of social media, an ideology built on past experiences and stories from others. Contrary to my previous belief, I have now found an amazing relationship through social media 😊.

Our beginning was rough, and I never thought we would get to this point, but somehow we have made it this far. She is supportive to a fault, always looking out for me. She can not go a day without checking in to see how I am doing. In all, I have come to realize that she truly loves me, and she has taught me how beautiful love is.

She may never be perfect, but she is the one person who loves me at my worst. She is my dream come true!
