A walk to remember
I'm so happy today is Sunday and to me it's a free day. A day set apart for Christians to reconnect to their God, a day of rest though some still don't which is quite understandable. I woke up this morning not knowing exactly what to cook and how to start going about preparing for today's church service. There are days when you sleep and feel like you really need to sleep to your satisfaction and that's how I felt this morning but I was woken up by my nephew who has been living with me for quite some time now.
He's very clever and well outspoken. As a child he's also very loud when he's talking. He is the one who woke me up early this morning to start cooking. I know he usually eats early and has become used to it, even his sister does the same. I'm not sure if they can ever miss taking breakfast or even eating late in the morning. Sometimes my parents when looking at them will share their experiences of the war and sometimes wonder how they will cope if there happens to be another war.
So this morning I woke up early and entered the kitchen. Thanks to the double burner I was able to prepare multiple things at a time. Now I'm done cooking and have served food on the table.

Both my nephew and my niece had taken their bath and I think I'm the only one left to do the needful. I believe that while they help themselves with the food, I can go to the bathroom and take my shower.
There will be nothing much left to do but to make sure everyone is well dressed before we drive to church.
One of my happiness is that there are no more potholes on the road, which is one thing that usually bothers me because it kills the vehicle's shock absorber.
Music is life and one thing that people usually enjoy in well established churches is music. With good sound systems installed in churches Christians can be happy even more as good songs delights the soul and even open gateways for deeper worship.
The role of music in churches is sometimes not fully understood by many. Though there may be prayers, there are good Christian songs which carry powerful messages and inspiration. The likes of which you can rarely even get while the preaching is going on.
Yes I feel blessed to be a Christian and I'm one who doesn't fight other religions but instead pray for others to discover the truth because one thing I know is that the human mind is constantly in search of truth. The truth about the universe, the truth about God, the truth about creation and existence of all things and many who want to know if there's life after earth and life after death.
I always pray for everyone to come to knowledge of the truth because I know that only the truth can help us build a better society and that alone can help promote peace in the world.
A world where there will be no denominational barriers to sharing a good relationship with one another or cruelty to favour one group and work against another because they're not brethren.
Love is one thing I know which the gospel of Jesus Christ is strongly focused on. Love one another as yourself and do unto others what you like to be done unto you.
This is one teaching I know that if many of us Christians are practicing as taught there will really be a difference but the world is filled with cheating and craftines.
Just yesterday night I read of Congo and it's about the mineral resource cobalt obtained from their land which serves as one of the very important features in modern day technologies but yet the community living within the surrounding of those mines and the country itself remains among the poorest in the world.
There is a lot of injustice going on in the world today. The rich pave their ways with money and move swiftly and live above the law in most cases while the poor labour in all things just to feed.
My sincere prayer is that one day there will be world peace and above all that everyone will come to realize their errors and change to live right to the benefit of themselves and the world at large.
Thanks for stopping by to read my post.
Music is Indeed beautiful @baby1. Though I listen to secular music a lot, I love to always begin my day with calm and easy going music. Thank you so much for sharing
Yeah calm and and easy going music is always best to start with every day. It really helps in proper coordination.
Absolutely @baby1
