Ichnusa, an Italian classic

Hello to my fellow beer lovers, it's time for another #beersaturday 🍻
Here's a typical and famous Italian beer from Sardinia: Ichnusa.
This label has become very commercial and is distributed all over Italy since it's been acquired by Heineken. And yet, it seems to keep its craft feeling intact. In fact it's one of my favourite beer.

Typically, Ichnusa produces unfiltered blonde beer. It's cloudy, with a dark yellow color and a pretty consistent foam. The aroma and taste recall cereals a lot, malt and grain, and I really like it. It's always a safe choice for me when I want to drink a good beer.
It's true that is criticized by Italian beer experts because it lost its original feeling and it doesn't really represent Sardinia anymore. But it's a good beer and that's it.

As usually, pizza and youtube. This time I had pesto genovese and cherry tomatoes, one of my favourite. I was watching a video from Andrew Southworth, a musician and youtuber expert on music promotions and ads for musicians. In that video is talking about promoting Bandcamp, since many artists are leaving Spotify and looking for alternatives.

LORD OF THE LOST - I WILL DIE IN IT

For this music appointment I want to share this new work from Lord of the Lost. The German goth metal band just released their new album Opvs Noir vol. 1 and this song is one of the singles released before the full album came out.

Lord of the Lost were born in 2007 but they reached a peak of popularity with their participation in the Eurovision song contest in 2023 with the song Blood and Glitter.

Opvs Noir sets a come back to a darker style, both aesthetically and in the sound, leaving the 80s synth-pop experimentations of their previous album and going back to what they used to do and their most loyal fans love. An epic, symphonic and powerful gothic metal, with big guitar riffs and catchy choruses. Playing with a melancholic feeling of inevitable loss, pain and struggle, but also romantic decadent love.
