Musical Weekend [ENG/ESP]
Greetings to everyone in the Lifestyle community. Today I'm joining you to share another day in my life. This week has been particularly busy, which makes me quite happy. Right now, I've been trying to be present for the choir group, taking advantage of having the time since I haven't had as much homework. For example, on Saturday we decided to rehearse again because we have several activities coming up soon and we need to be prepared. Since I'm new, I'm really interested in attending as many classes as I can because I need to learn the repertoire, how they perform the pieces, listen, make corrections, and also get to know the group a little better.
Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Lifestyle. El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes un nuevo día en mi vida. Y es que esta semana ha sido particularmente movida y eso me alegra bastante. Ahorita mismo, he estado intentando estar presente para el grupo del coro, aprovechando también que tengo el tiempo para ello y que no he tenido tantos deberes en el colegio. Por ejemplo, el día sábado se decidió ensayar una vez más ya que dentro de nada tendremos varias actividades y debemos estar preparadas. Cómo soy nueva, me interesa bastante poder ir a todas clases que pueda ya que necesito saber el repertorio, cómo llevan esas piezas, escuchar, corregir y también entender al grupo un poco.
I was pretty busy on Saturday, doing several things around the house, and then I had to go out to take care of some things and, most importantly, do some grocery shopping. So, after finishing everything at home, I quickly went down to Alta Vista, and after a few errands, I arrived at the market and it was incredibly crowded. That was something I wasn't expecting, and it made me quite late for rehearsal, but it was necessary to get this shopping done. By the way, lately I've been avoiding certain foods because of my bowel problems, so there are simply things I can't eat anymore because they make me feel really bad, and I prefer to avoid them rather than spend several days feeling unwell. When I finally managed to pay, I ran out and looked for a car to get home.
Estuve bastante full el sábado, haciendo varias cosas en casa y luego debí salir a la calle a arreglar algunas cosas y sobre todo, a hacer mercado. Así que luego de terminar todo en mi hogar, baje rápido a Alta Vista, y luego de algunas diligencias llegué al mercado y había demasiada gente. Eso fue algo que no esperaba y solo me retrasé bastante para el ensayo, pero era necesario salir de estas compras. Por cierto, últimamente he estado evitando ciertos alimentos por mi problema con el colon, así que sencillamente hay cosas que ya no puedo comer pues me caen muy mal y prefiero evitarlas antes de pasar varios días con malestar. Cuando por fin pude pasar la cuenta, salí corriendo y busque un carro para llegar a casa.
It was incredibly hot, and I was already starting to feel the effects, haha. However, I got home, got everything ready, and ran down to the academy. Everyone had already started rehearsal, and I felt a little bad, but I guess it's better than not showing up and missing the days. We practiced "Caramba," which I'd had the opportunity to sing before, but I didn't remember some parts very well. Again, I listened and followed the group. We also talked a bit about next Friday and finalized the logistics. I got home to take care of my pets, clean a little more, and make something delicious to eat. It was a good week. Hacia un calor súper intenso y yo ya estaba comenzando a sentir los estragos jaja sin embargo, llegué a casa, dejé todo listo y baje corriendo hacia la academia. Allí ya todas habían comenzado el ensayo y me dió un poco de pena, pero creo que es mejor eso a no llegar y perder los días. Practicamos "Caramba" la cual ya había tenido la oportunidad de cantar anteriormente, pero no recordaba demasiado algunas partes. Nuevamente escuchar y seguir al grupo. También se habló un poco sobre el viernes que viene y se hizo el arreglo de esa logística. Llegué a casa para atender a mis mascotas, limpiar un poco más y hacer algo rico de comer.
