Musical Tuesday: the music of Modesta Bor [ENG/ESP]
Greetings to everyone in the Lifestyle community. Today I am joining you here to share with you a new day in my life. At the start of this week, things have gone quite well, although the immediate change is noticeable. This Tuesday was the third choir rehearsal, and I've been feeling very enthusiastic because my work schedule has worked out quite well, giving me enough time to do my household chores and personal tasks, as well as find time to study a little. At least the pieces we're practicing, since I'm so new, allow me to catch up with what the girls are working on. They are quite good, and the choir does require a certain level of skill, so I hope I can give it my all and make it work.
Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Lifestyle. El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes un nuevo día en mi vida. En este comienzo de semana, las cosas han ido bastante bien aunque se siente el cambio inmediato. Este martes fue el tercer ensayo del coro y he sentido mucho entusiasmo porque me han cuadrado bastante bien los horarios del trabajo, lo que me da el tiempo suficiente para poder hacer mis tareas del hogar y también las. personales, así como también, buscar el momento para estudiar un poco. Al menos las piezas que estamos practicando, ya que siendo tan nueva dejo ponerme al día con lo que las chicas están trabajando. Son bastante buenas y el coro sí exige estar a cierto nivel, así que espero poder dar todo de mi y que funcione.
Today, for example, we were working on the Agnus Dei, Lacrimosa, Coplas de Cuna, and Salve Regina. By the way, I had never heard the latter before, and I thought it was quite beautiful, but also quite difficult, and that with some effort I can get there. I like the fact that it's a bit like a tongue twister, with the way the syllables sound and how they come together to give meaning to the lyrics. We also worked on Friday's event to get everything ready. Despite the short time I have, I feel pretty good here and little by little, I understand more and more about the dynamics of the choir and what each member is like. They are all very friendly, funny, and, of course, very talented. By the way, the choir has received a lot of support from many people here in Ciudad Guayana. This is natural, considering that it is a long-standing and talented choir that cannot go unnoticed. I am so proud. Without further ado, thank you very much for stopping by.
Hoy por ejemplo, estuvimos trabajando con el Agnus Dei, Lacrimosa, Coplas de Cuna y Salve Regina. Que por cierto, esta última yo no la había oído nunca antes y me pareció que es bastante bella, pero también bastante difícil y que con algo de esfuerzo puedo llegar. Me gusta el hecho de que parece un poco cómo un trabalenguas, con la forma en la que suenan las silabas y como se unen para dar sentido a la letra. Por otra parte, también estuvimos trabajando en lo que será el evento del día viernes, para tener todo listo. A pesar del corto tiempo que tengo, me siento bastante bien aquí y poco a poco, entiendo cada vez más la dinámica del coro y cómo es cad a integrante. Todas ellas muy amables, chistosas y por supuesto, con mucho talento. Por cierto, el coro ha recibido mucho apoyo por parte de muchas personas de acá de ciudad Guayana. Algo natural tomando en cuenta que e un coro longevo y talentoso que no puede pasar desapercibido. Que orgullo. Sin más que decir muchísimas gracias por pasar por aquí.
