Hello there, Hivers!

If you think I have fun while making my instruments, you will not be surprised to know that I have even more fun when I have to hand them over to their owners. What could make this experience better? Well, the fact that said owner is a member of the Hive community.

Some months ago, @Ylich contacted me to get some information about my instruments. After some talks, he decided to get a commission from my workshop. The idea was making him an instrument and also going to Caracas to hand it. Some things have happened since that and he decided to come over to get the instrument himself.

So we also planned an activity as the formal handing over of instrument and also to talk about Hive.

The most important part of the experience, at least for me, is getting some feedback from a musician. There are not that many that hold an instrument of mine in their hands. And certainly he is the first one who has commissioned one. That was one of the best parts of having him come over and get to talk and some make some music together.

Hopefully, this could be the beginning of a new chapter in the life of the workshop. Let's see what comes around the corner in regards to instruments. There are also some other photos of the time we went to the beach to have some fish. However, those are reserved for a later post.

It was a blast to have an opportunity to make an instrument for Ylich. It was also important to get the feedback on the things that need improvement. Overall, a great experience.

Wow, that's really cool to make an instrument for a Hiver, and even better as it is for @ylich! 👏

Hola amigo, un gusto saludarte. Que bien que uno de tus instrumentos esté ene manos de un músico hivers, Dios quiera sean muchos los músicos que soliciten tus servicios.

What a wonderful experience to make a cuatro for a musician friend, who is also a prominent figure in the Spanish-speaking community of #Hive. Without a doubt, @Ylich will know how to make the most of your craftsmanship as a luthier. Best regards, @bertrayo.

It is an honor for me to be the first, and I hope many more will follow!

On top of that, it was great to go to Cumaná and do the wonderful work we did there.
