Ya Comencé mis Clases en El Conservatorio | I started my classes at the Conservatory

Hola, Queridos Hivers!

Les cuento que ya oficialmente empecé con mis clases de canto en el conservatorio!

A pesar de que el día que me toca no pudimos ver clases ya que debido a las remodelaciones no tenemos muchos salones disponibles, y el nucleo de la comandancia, que es donde trabajaremos mientras, no estaba disponible, el profesor me llamo para recuperar los días jueves y viernes.

El miercoles que fui cuando aún estaba en tratamiento, el profesor nos contó como sería el plan de evaluación para este año escolar, y nos mandó las piezas que podíamos empezar a trabajar, así que por mi cuenta empecé a aprendermelas.

El tema de este primer semestre es Música Española, y me parece un tema muy interesante porque algo llamativo de esa música son los adornos vocales, que suelen ser muy rápidos y no tan fáciles de hacer, así que estoy muy emocionada por aprender a manejarlos!

Después de pasar una semana estudiando en casa sin poder asistir al conservatorio por el tratamiento, por fin fui este jueves y viernes, y trabajé con el profesor técnica vocal y con una nueva pianista repertorista que nos asignaron las piezas que me aprendí.
Se supone que presentaremos estas piezas acompañados de un guitarrista, pero
mientras tanto estamos revisándolas con nuestros pianistas.

La nueva pianista es muy agradable, y logramos revisar tres piezas! Así que ya estoy empezando a monta una cuarta, porque el maestro nos mandó a aprender 7 mínimo.

Aún no he empezado mis clases de lenguaje musical debido a problemas administrativos, pero en cuanto las empiece, ustedes serán de los primeros en saber!!

Hello, dear Hivers!

I'm letting you know that I've officially started my singing lessons at the conservatory!

Although we couldn't attend classes on my scheduled day because we don't have many rooms available due to renovations, and the headquarters building, where we'll be working in the meantime, wasn't available, the professor called me to make up the Thursday and Friday sessions.

On the Wednesday I went while I was still in treatment, the professor told us what the assessment plan would be for this school year and sent us the pieces we could start working on, so I started learning them on my own.

The theme for this first semester is Spanish Music, and I find it a very interesting topic because something striking about that music is the vocal ornaments, which are usually very quick and not so easy to perform, so I'm very excited to learn how to use them!

After spending a week studying at home without being able to attend the conservatory due to treatment, I finally went this Thursday and Friday and worked with the vocal technique teacher and a new repertoire pianist who assigned us the pieces I learned.
We're supposed to perform these pieces accompanied by a guitarist, but in the meantime, we're reviewing them with our pianists.

The new pianist is very nice, and we managed to review three pieces! So, I'm already starting to put together a fourth, because the teacher told us to learn at least seven.

I haven't started my music language classes yet due to administrative issues, but as soon as I start, you'll be among the first to know!
