The person answering the question also said, "We are doing well." I think that the question "Are you doing well" is enough. Shouldn't the questions we ask make it difficult for the other person to answer?

After a long time of talking and answering questions, I suggested that we play the guitar and sing, and everyone agreed. We forgot our worries and inconveniences and sang together.
