I had fun trying to utilize various melodies on this track while keeping the beat quick. Since Track 3 utilizes a lot of bass this one incorporates a wider selection of guitars.

The track stays quick and atmospheric because it’s like skating through a city near the ocean or Lake Shore Drive (in Chicago) on your skateboard - getting glimpses of the sun and ocean between buildings, pedestrians, and traffic.

As usual I had fun mixing various timings between the beats and melodies in the track - just that vibe of skating through a city and seeing so many different random things and people in one day.

Chicago is a unique city because you can definitely be in the hustle and bustle of the city during the day and on a summer night wind up at the beach on the lake. The song ends with that gain of atmospheric quality and a clearing of some of the quicker beats.
