Not all joy has to be euphoric

How is it possible to understand what you feel when you listen to that music, if my soul is different from yours?

Fernando González

And so it is with everything, not just music. We cannot feel for others, that much is clear. I haven't discovered anything new, that much is also clear.

A few minutes of stillness in my body do me good. The tips of my fingers touching each other with their twins bring serenity to my body.

I’m not praying or summoning anything; some postures of the body bring calm. I did this one intuitively, and for me it works; it makes me feel a kind of tranquil joy. I don’t think all joy has to be euphoric.

And if I accompany it with a beautiful piece of music like this, the experience feels more complete (with some good-sounding headphones—not everyone will want to listen to it, I wish everyone in my neighborhood would respect that). I close my eyes to concentrate better on the music, or better yet, to immerse myself in it, looping for a while, just breathing and listening.

And this time I do have plans for Saturday: I'll go shopping mid-morning. Here, the day is just beginning, so it's early morning and time to sleep, but I wanted to welcome the day with some light music because, for some strange reason, at one in the morning I'm still not sleepy.

I hope to find some good strawberries for a drink I want to make and come up with a good idea for a nice lunch, since I'll have a visitor who will spend a few hours with me chatting, watching movies, and...

Maybe a massage session. A foot massage is heaven for me. Not everyone likes to receive them, and not everyone is willing to give them, but this time I got lucky. How lucky!

Well, I'll continue enjoying my moment of serenity this early morning until sleep overtakes me...

Until next time

Thank you for accompanying me. I wish you good health, a dignified life.

If one can find stillness I think it can be a profound moment; if done regularly then it's even better.

Hopefully you have a meaningful weekend and one which you design your own way.

I often seek out those moments of quiet, although in my case the hardest part is turning down the volume on certain thoughts.

Thank you for your good wishes. Here it's still the weekend, Sunday afternoon. The weekend hasn't turned out quite as I planned, but I can erase some things from the sketch, take a deep breath and redesign, or maybe just stay still for a while.

Monday morning here. 🥴

Sorry to hear things didn't go to plan, but at least you've reset and are ready to move on to the next opportunity.

Monday morning and you took the time to respond, wow, I appreciate it and hope you have a great start to the week 😉

Well, my plans were about 80% successful, the rest was out of my hands, I think...

The posture you did is typical of chakra alignment. I don't know anything about that, but I've seen it, and you did it instinctively. That's because your energy centres know it. I love Richard Clayderman! I used to meditate to his songs! Let the energy flow through you!🤗

I don't know either, but I also think that hand gesture is called a mudra, and it may be one of them, probably also related to the alignment of chakras. That hand gesture makes me feel quite relaxed and secure.

Richard Clayderman is really great. Whether you just listen to him or watch him at the same time, he radiates good energy.

Hug! 🤗

Even if things don't go as planned, you have that technique that will help you create moments of calm, so that you can finish Sunday on a high note. Good night!🤗

Exactly, my esteemed Avdesing. Later, I will enjoy my precious moment of conscious relaxation. Peace in my life is essential. Good night!🤗

Greetings,
it's amazing how a simple moment can bring such peace.
Have you explored other ways to find that inner calm, like meditation or journaling?

I have tried meditation. Once, a long time ago, I reached such a state of calm that I spent a few minutes without feeling my body. It was both fascinating and a little scary, but I really liked it.
