A First-Class Show

Hello, friends of the #Weekend-Experiences community. I would like to share with you my experiences from this weekend, which has been one of joy, even as we stay informed about an upcoming hurricane.

I want to tell you about a show I attended with my family. It was the closing gala concert of a film appreciation festival, dedicated this time to French cinema and the actor Alain Delon.

The idea of this Festival,called Cinemazul, is to promote the cine clubs in the territories. The presenters introduce a film and exchange with the attendees through questions or comments.

It is truly entertaining and enriching because it becomes a pretext to watch excellent films and to teach, or learn, how to enjoy them in a different way.
Children also participate in the contest,with pieces dedicated to their age group. They get their introduction to viewing and then discuss the main values of the work.

The festival concludes with the award ceremony. Those who stand out the most are given the Ola Award, named after the coastal origin where the event was created, in the city of Puerto Padre.

This time Cinemazul looked different,with an exquisite award ceremony show, at the Tunas movie theater, the main one in my city of the same name.

The Las Tunas Symphony Orchestra is conducted and integrated by young local musicians. And, for their concert, they invited the children's choir and dancers from the Professional School of Art, as well as singers and actors from the province.

Time dissolved unhurriedly.If you closed your eyes while listening, you could place yourself in some French movie, which, by the way, I love! And without being an expert, I can feel that the music in this cinematography is like one more character, and it gives a unique rhythm and atmosphere to the films, easily identifiable.

Specialists and critics have already stated it: the soundtrack does not just accompany the image, but transforms it and makes it unforgettable. French cinema has made great contributions to universal culture.

There are the anthologies of Michel Legrand,Bruno Coulais, or Alexandre Desplat. They have left us melodies of similar intensity to those of memorable characters and stories.

The Las Tunas Symphony Orchestra delivered to the public timbral richness, expressive power, and the ability to make us relive unique and very personal emotions.
We listened,for example, to the pieces Le Professionnel theme, Les Choristes Suite, La vie en rose theme, and Astérix & Obélix Pot-pourri. Each one made the audience rise from their seats.

Without a doubt, one of the best moments was the interpretation of Les Parapluies de Cherbourg theme and La Seine theme. The young singers and the actresses received prolonged applause.
Various local publications recognized the value of this weekend presentation,which took us on a sonic journey through French filmography.

The performed works are already considered classics and made us realize that both music and cinema transform us, make us feel better.
Although the Film Appreciation Festival in my city does not usually conclude with shows in this manner,I am sure it has set the path for other high-level concerts and that many families can enjoy these experiences of an unforgettable weekend.

Un espectáculo de altura

Hola, amigos de la comunidad de #Weekend-Experiences. Me gustaría compartirles mis vivencias de este fin de semana, que ha sido de gozo, aunque nos mantenemos informados de un próximo huracán.

Quiero contarles sobre un espectáculo, al cual acudí junto a mi familia. Se trató de la gala concierto de cierre de un festival de apreciación cinematográfica, dedicado esta vez al cine francés y al actor Alain Delon.
La idea de este Festival llamado Cinemazul es promover los cine clubes de los territorios. Los ponentes presentan un filme e intercambian con los asistentes, por medio de preguntas o comentarios.

Realmente es entretenido y enriquecedor, porque se convierte en un pretexto para ver excelentes películas y enseñar, o aprender, a disfrutarlas de un modo diferente.
Los niños también participan en el concurso, con piezas dedicadas a su edad. Ellos hacen su introducción al visionaje y luego comentan los principales valores de la obra.

El festival concluye con las premiaciones. A quienes más se destacan le entregan el Premio Ola, que se llama así por el origen costero donde se creó el evento, en la ciudad de Puerto Padre.
Esta vez el Cinemazul lució diferente, con un espectáculo de premiación exquisito, en el cine teatro Tunas, el principal de mi ciudad del mismo nombre.

La orquesta sinfónica de Las Tunas está dirigida e integrada por jóvenes músicos locales. Y, para su concierto, invitaron al coro infantil y bailarines de la Escuela Profesional de Arte, además de cantantes y actores de la provincia.
El tiempo se disolvió sin prisa. Si cerrabas los ojos mientras escuchabas podrías ubicarte en alguna película francesa, que por cierto ¡me encantan! Y es que sin ser experta puedo sentir que la música en esta cinematografía es como un personaje más, y le otorga un ritmo y una atmósfera única a las películas, fácilmente identificables.

Ya lo han referido los especialistas y críticos: la banda sonora no solo acompaña a la imagen, sino la transforma y la vuelve inolvidable. El cine francés ha hecho grandes aportes a la cultura universal.
Ahí están las antologías de Michel Legrand, Bruno Culais o Alendre Desplat. Nos han dejado melodías de similar intensidad a la de memorables personajes e historias.

La Orquesta Sinfónica de Las Tunas entregó al público riqueza tímbrica, potencia expresiva y la capacidad de hacernos revivir emociones únicas y muy personales.
Escuchamos, por ejemplo, las piezas Le professionnel thème, Los Choristes Suite, La vie en rose thème y Asterix & Obelix Popourrix. Cada una hizo levantar de los asientos al auditorio.

Sin dudas, uno de los mejores momentos fue la intepretación de Les parapluies de Cherboug thème y La Siene thème. Los jóvenes cantantes y las actrices recibieron aplausos prolongados.
Diversas publicaciones locales reconocieron el valor de esta presentación de fin de semana, que nos condujo por un viaje sonoro, a través de la filmografía francesa.

Las obras intepretadas se consideran ya clásicos y nos hicieron comprobar que tanto la música, como el cine, nos transforma, nos hace sentir mejores.
Aunque el Festival de Apreciación Cinematográfica de mi ciudad no suele concluir con espectáculos de esta manera, estoy segura que ha marcado la ruta para otros conciertos de elevado nivel y que muchas familias podamos disfrutar de estas experiencias de un inovidable fin de semana.
