A MUSIC THAT RESONATES WITH ME - WE 135
A few years back, I saw an amazing series that got me hooked from the start to the end, the series is called TWILIGHT, it has five different parts that has different titles. The movie is a movie that talks so much about love, vampires and werewolves and many more things but for the sake of this article, I want to focus more on the part of the movie were the lead actor and actress got married, their love life.
It was in this movie I heard a beautiful song that was sang by Christina Perri titled A THOUSAND YEARS.
This song is one song that resonates so well with me every time I listen to it. One of the main reasons why I love this song was basically because of the love Edward and Bella shared before they finally got married, they both had a very strong affection towards each other. Edward was a vampire while Bella was human but then Bella was not even disappointed to find out that the one she loved was not even human, in fact she was so much interested in becoming a vampire just like her lover so they could live all their lives together.
I remember when they both had sex for the first time, since Edward was not human, he gets really excited when he makes love and he was scared to have sex with Bella because he did not want to hurt her but then Bella didn't care, she wanted him to make love to her and she doesn't mind bearing the consequences. After they both had sex together, Edward realized that he hurt Bella a lot and he was so mad at himself but Bella made him understood that she was okay, this shows you how much love they both have for each other.
If you've seen this movie you will understand what I'm trying to explain here, their love story was EPIC! Their marriage was so beautiful too and A THOUSAND YEARS was the song that was used to usher in the bride, I will share a YouTube video of the summary of the scene below so you can get the feeling I got, hopefully.
Whenever I listen to the song, I always wish to have a beautiful love story just like Edward and Bella, I feel like getting married even though I'm yet to find that one that makes my heart beat, the one I'm ready to spend a thousand years with. I always feel love listening to the song, I want to love so hard and I want to be loved also, that is the feeling I get every time I listen to the song.
This might not be the best song for you but it is for me because I love the feeling I get every time I listen to it and I do hope I have others that also love it too 🤞. I hope watching that movie gets your heart fluttered but that's if you let it, hehe.

Ah this song is Amazing. Have watched only first two parts of twilight tho! Not sure which one had this song.
The breaking dawn part two is where they used the song, on their marriage day 😊.

This is one of my favorite songs. I remember this when my brother-in-law created a video for my parent's wedding anniversary and thousand years was the background.

Their love was powerful. I know this song very well and I first noticed it when a friend played a first cover of it then I did mine. I can't find the video though.
Would be great to make another cover of it someday. Maybe when I start being active with guitar playing.
