Finally a good day!
Burn! That's what the sun said since the early morning. Which is fine. It's her right. It's not like one could do anything about it anyway.
It's been a good day from the start. A real weekend day. Hanging out in bed with Ellie drinking coffee. Then going to the bakery, doing inventory while the kids did acrobatics. They absolutely appreciated the sunshine.
I think I'm a bit one for photosynthesis. Sunny days give me energy. I ran around almost all morning, organizing, helping, smiling. It's a good time after all the drama in the last weeks.
Life can be lovely. Right now, I'm sitting at a friend's bar, for a special event that did not turn out as she expected. Which happens a lot. Especially when starting out and experimenting with new concepts, which this was. She's one of my crowd, eager to learn from mistakes. So, an event that didn't turn out might give her even more benefit than one that works form the get go.
That's for now! I'll keep enjoying, and I hope you are, too. We deserve it
