Very interesting use of tokens. I personally find this to be a very useful use too. Don't have too much to outlay at the moment so just made an effort to have a few SUB just to keep track of it :) Wish you guys all the best of luck! I hope such tokens take off as an artifact of ownership like shares rather than just be currency.

So. Since this started. I have had a brain twitch I just could not figure out. Now. I don't read posts. Because I hold deep found thoughts that mostly have a negative thing to say (in appearance,_ but if thought about is a positive thing to have said. Blah blah. And if I am mentioning something you have said in the post. Sorry. But my text is shorter than yours to read,

Could this be done for each song. Bear with me BooBoo. (I misspelt Bare there just so I could say the Booboo bit.)
Each song would be an account Only one account would issue the token. The one that does now.

New song new account.
The new account acts as an escrow for the royalties to that specific record.
Hive sent for royalties have a memo for the song.
That is then sent to an individual account made for the song.

This is then powered up to hive and supports posts on the chain about music you know about and Risingstar and any other interests you hold. Just make sure to have used all votes up all of the time. This original sum from the royalty purchase remains the property of SUB. Although used to promote your product for the start. (After 4 or 5 records), And those with a brain see the advantages you can offer. More will put by for the next record. And it would be worth while for the small player too.

Proceeds from the sales of records I would assume some is used for the royalties. If a project ran for 18 month. 15 of sales and then 3 of a Powerdown. The original sum sent for SUB X amount of HIVE should give a higher reward than just sales.

This grows you also by use of the new account record to gain a greater reward in turn than the previous record. As all new records would follow your vote.

You would also make a post prior to the record release on the main account to announce a new upcoming release.

Additional option.
Only powerdown the requested amount at a time. Issue a post from the account showing its net when powerdown is to start in two weeks. (all accounts vote) giving a little boost to the account. People can claim their quota. This should be an all or keep it going for another 6 month or term determined.

The account would sacrifice 50% of the HP it generates during the term to the royalties.

Think I covered just about everything.

We need this kind of experiment to test how the new crypto sphere economy can solve problems left over from legacy media corporations and government fiat money. Keep trying new ideas! I'll probably be buying more SUB down the road.
