STOP LISTENING TO LOUD MUSIC

Listening to music using headphones can be a hassle, the fact that I can sing gets into me sometimes and I tend to try out really interesting things those times, hehe. There was this particular song I always enjoyed listening to back then and because I've listened to it so much and I already know how it is sang I was so sure I won't be confused no matter what happens, even in my sleep I can sing the song very well, hehe.

I was so confident about myself until that faithful day when on my own accord I disgraced my proud self. You know that's one thing I like about an humbled person, they never make the same mistake twice, not even in their dreams. I was all set for the day and I took my brothers headphone with me as I decided to just listened to my favorite song but this time, it was with a headphone.

I was with my siblings, we were all seated and I didn't want them to ask me to remove the song from repeat mode because I enjoy music more on repeat mode but obviously not everyone find that okay you see. I listened to the song the first time and I only mumbled it a little, I wasn't in the mood then I guess. When the song started playing the second time, I began, hope began to sing in her melodious voice people, oh my!

I was enjoying myself so much because I can't hear anything, not even myself, all I knew was that I was singing and I loved the feeling. The good thing was that I can see, if not deep down, I was already in cloud nine about to discover another cloud. After singing almost half of the song, my brother was trying to get my attention, at first he told me I was shouting and my strong head asked him to leave me alone. I continued singing and before I knew it, my sister was the one trying to call me to order.

This time she didn't say I was only shouting, she said I was singing a different song because the song she knows is more interesting than the one I was singing. I still tried to argue with her and she let me continue singing, she had a plan (O foolish me!). While I was still enjoying myself, someone just removed the headphones from my head and I could hear the rubbish I was singing so loud and clear!

I felt so embarrassed, the good thing was that it was just my siblings that were with me then. If you had seen me at that point, you'd think I just listened to a heart touching speech because I was so calm. My siblings laughed at me a lot and the worst part was I could not even talk well again, because my throat was hurting me due to the shouting, good for me. It was then I knew and agreed I was yelling since.

Since I had that experience, if I ever put on earphones or headphones, I'd always reduce the volume or don't sing along other times. And the funny thing is my phone would always warn me not to increase the volume of the headphones too high but trust my kind of people, we would just ignore it and do as we want. I learnt the hard way and now when I see people doing the same thing, I just remember my own experience.

There was even one that was more embarrassing than mine. It happened to a lady who went to the restaurant and was enjoying a very loud music at the restaurant. She went with her friends who were both male and females. She was feeling pressed so she thought to herself that since the music in the restaurant was loud, she can just free herself (fart) and no one would even notice but unfortunately, the music she was listening to was from her headphone! Only she can hear the loud music.

I guess my case was nothing compared to that lady's experience but still I felt embarrassed and I learnt my lesson. So do you have any experience with headphones and how was it like? Do share with me, let's meet at the comment section, hehe.
