Ten on Tuesday
There's not ten, I just said that because it worked for my title...anyway, for my ten on Tuesday post I'd like to share three tracks that I've been listening to lately. Three, only seven short of ten but that's ok right? #whatever
These tracks are not new to me, or new in general I guess, but they've sat (unloved) in my Spotify playlists for a long time and because I go through when I can and dig up past favourites they've been in the spotlight for the last few weeks along with some others as well. I actually think that's one of the cool things about music, we can like or love something but not hear it for a long time then one listen brings back that enjoyment, the emotion and feeling the music brings. Cool right?
What haven't you listened to that you'd like to hear (and love) again? Feel free to share if you'd like to.

Maybe not 10 percent, but I have been trying to hold to that more. I'm horrible at being reactionary and I don't always like the way it turns out. Great songs by the way! I am starting to like Musgraves more and more.
Yeah, I'm the same, wasn't much of a fan but her music is growing on me and I don't mind that, a good artist. How about Dire Straits man, been a while since I listened to them!
I have Brothers in Arms on vinyl.
Worth a few bucks. The price of vinyl here, it's mental!
It's pretty crazy over here too!
Here, they're $100+ each and up to $150 and that's just for standard LP's, nothing unique or rare! Bonkers.
Oh wow, yeah, that's nuts. I'm usually pretty happy when I can snag a used album for $6!
Six bucks? That's good value...Unheard of here.
Yeah, like I said, that's used. Most new ones are around between $20 to $40, unless it is a huge box set, so still a much better deal than there.
It definitely doesn’t feel like 10%. Even if it were, it wouldn’t really make a difference. What matters is how you respond to it. I don’t always handle things perfectly, though, and sometimes (often) I react the wrong way
Self-honesty is the way towards personal improvement so well done for being honest with yourself; so many are not.
I have also reacted (and acted) badly and it's worked out to my detriment and certainly the detriment of others; I'll do it again I'm sure mostly because I'm human and as such am fallible and flawed. Having said that, so much of what I've learned in life has come from being flawed, the failures, and that's a good thing right?
Thanks for commenting and keep seeking continual improvement it's a more righteous pursuit than perfection.
Hi Galen, I enjoyed starting the day with that saxophone from the Dire Straits song. At night and with more than 30 degrees Celsius, I can almost see the story.
About the percentages I don't know how to put a number on them, but I do know that in most occasions what decides is the attitude towards what happens, the response and not the fact itself. That is my personal experience. That is why a year ago I decided to change things in my professional life.
Good music huh? I don't l like all of their music but Dire Straits had some good tracks.
Attitude, yep that makes all the different for better or worse; the really smart people make it for the better.
I don't like everything by Dire Straits either, but this song, in particular, seems very good to me, with a very noir novel atmosphere. Everything has already been said about the attitude.
Have a great day
Like an old G dog I tend to dig up some old
bonestunes from my playlist also...This last week it has been some BOC. Maybe you just inspired me to take TEN for Tuesday. Ten minutes away from this frikkin storm damage property reclamation to turn 10 into three...
Who doesn't like digging up a bone or two right? I mean music...or a bone I guess.
Ten on Tuesday...it's unlikely to catch on but I was feeling quite unimaginative in respect of my title so what the fucken hell right? #nocarefactor Lol
How'd you go with the storm overall?
12 hours yesterday (Tuesday) and about 6 hours today. 2 big trees down. Big as in your fingers might just touch hugging them if you have grape ape arms. Mine would not tho. Chainsaw and the neighbors big dog Kubota with the grappler on the front made it way easier. Big fire 🔥 burning. Not so big now. Wrapping this shit show up to get back on the road. I might hit u up on 3MA one of these days to get up to speed on stuff. 😉
A little more rain and you'd have needed a boat!
Looking forward to chatting on 3MA.
👍
The first two I didn't know, but the last one I do and I love it! It's been a long time since I've listened to it and I'm glad I did. Thank you!!
Some of what I'm listening to is this and I haven't listened to it for a long time.
And this... I love it George!!!
George Michael was a great artist, troubled though I think.
Yes she had them, but I love her voice.... lately I listen to a lot of romantic music from the 70‘s, 80’s, I love it!
He.
Yes!🤣 I must check the translator!
Yep.
I will do it, sorry.
Our reactions to the realities we see around us help in shaping our life experiences, either for good or for bad. So what our lives become eventually is a sum total of our responses to life's curve balls as they come. Well said!
Your music collection is beautiful but I liked the first one more.
Well summarised. ✅
Hey
I see you keep downvoting my posts and I’ve asked you several times but you’re not responding
Any problem?
Also, I feel we don’t have anything in common so if it’s a mistake, please check
If it’s not, let’s settle amicably
Thank you!
