I like music. However, the UNIVERSE can be cruel, and though I've used an iPod for the last 15 years, last summer, my music player got FRIED while I was attempting to DJ at a company picnic! Last Christmas, a few months after my tragic loss, Mariah (aka: The Boss!), bought me a non-Apple music machine, meaning that I've had to finagle some of the tunes to get them to play on the "wrong" player... It's all good.... Tunes can't stay "locked" to a true fanatic!

The intro is out of the way. From here, we have the REAL post! (A long, silly, self-indulgent music list!!!) I've decided to keep track of the tunes that I have on my new(ish) mp3 player. I like a variety of tunes, and I put them on random while I'm sleeping or making artz or whatever... Here, for your collecting pleasure, is the first 379 songs that I've TRANSFERED to my device (after recently deleting everything that WAS on it!) I'm sure I'll do more directly after the XMAS celebration has finished!

Music is cool... My style, as I'm sure I've mentioned a million times over the years, is to take a SLUG of songs and put them on random. I love a '50's Doo-Wop song to fade into a Russian Futurist Classical piece into a punk cut into '80's Pop into...blah blah blah (by Psychedelic Furs???) Random is wonderful. The tunes can often CONVERSE with each other in interesting ways, and my MP3 player doesn't just SHUFFLE and play each song once, but genuinely picks the next song randomly. Thus, even with a couple hundred cuts on the machine, I might here the same song twice in a row! (Annoying, I suppose, but perhaps NECESSARY, in a COSMIC SENSE...) Got it? Cool. Now go listen to each of these songs. (If you CAN'T find them, for whatever reason, let me know!!!)
