Todo cambió durante el gran apagón masivo en Venezuela. En medio de la oscuridad y el aburrimiento, le pedí a mi abuelo que me enseñara algo. Bajo la luz de las velas, aprendí "Compadre Pancho". Ese fue el inicio de una pasión que me llevó a estudiar en "El Sistema" (Alma Llanera) y, más tarde, a descubrir las infinitas posibilidades del cuatro tras una Masterclass con el gran Jorge Glem. Hoy en día, experimento con el cuatro para convertirlo en una orquesta de percusión.

A la par, me enamoré del Bajo. Comencé con un bajo económico y hoy mi fiel compañero es un Yamaha RBX 170. Mis influencias van desde la Salsa y el Joropo hasta el Funk, Jazz y Gospel. Gran parte de mi crecimiento se lo debo a mi fe; soy creyente y la música en mi iglesia ha sido una escuela increíble.

¿Por qué tardé tanto en publicar? Creé mi cuenta hace meses bajo el usuario @sebastenias2908, pero me desanimé por no tener el equipo "perfecto". Hoy entiendo que lo importante es empezar. Acabo de adquirir mi interfaz de audio y pronto vendrán más mejoras. Además de la música, soy apasionado de los videojuegos como Blood Striker y Age of Mythology.

Hello, Hive community! It's a pleasure to finally be here. My name is Sebastián Eduardo Tenías Martínez, and I am proudly from Cumaná, Venezuela, born on August 29, 2007.

My story with music didn't start the way you might expect. As a child, I was very hyperactive and had no interest in art; in fact, I broke my first toy "cuatro" by hitting it against the floor! However, fate had other plans. My grandfather, a lifelong musician, had a classic Yamaha guitar and a "cuatro" from Lara at home.

Everything changed during the massive blackout in Venezuela years ago. In the middle of the darkness and boredom, I asked my grandfather to teach me something. By candlelight, I learned "Compadre Pancho." That was the beginning of a passion that led me to study at "El Sistema" (Alma Llanera) and, later, to discover the infinite possibilities of the cuatro after a Masterclass with the great Jorge Glem.

At the same time, I fell in love with the Bass. I started with an affordable bass, and today my faithful companion is a Yamaha RBX 170. My influences range from Salsa and Joropo to Funk, Jazz, and Gospel. Much of my growth is due to my faith; I am a believer, and the music in my church has been an incredible school for me.

I come to Hive to share my evolution, connect with other artists, and grow together. I hope you enjoy this small fragment of my talent that I am sharing with you today!
