Here We Are

It is the night after the night before, and things aren't too bad. The Christening yesterday was brilliant, and we all had a few drinks, and plenty of food afterwards. There was a band hired to play for a couple of hours, and they were great, Kaleb was really interested in them and we kept walking up and listening, but he didn't do his famous dance and instead just stared in awe as they played a good mix of tunes.

They even sang happy birthday to me at one point, which was a lot of fun, and everyone gave a bit of applause, including Kaleb, who clapped when he saw everyone doing it.

Heading Home

A mate of mine was passing through Aimee's town, to head up to mine to celebrate my birthday, and he stopped in for us along his way, which was good.

Upon arrival, we went to the shop, picked up some drinks, dropped his car to his dad's and walked back to the house. He bought a bottle of Captain Morgan's, and we had a glass before heading out.

We left then, to head down for one pint in the pub near the end of my road. It was nice, the food yard was packed, but we got a table, had a drink, and ordered some food to have while we were there. This was around 8:30, and we left at around 9:45.

I didn't want to stay out drinking in the pubs, so we all headed back to the house and started boozing. My mate poured a glass of rum and Fanta for me, and every so often I would turn around and it would be full again. Within a few hours, it was gone, and I cracked out a bottle of Bushmills that had been in the cupboard for a while, and then a bottle of Jameson, and had a fair few bottles of Heineken too.

Some good tunes were playing, and at one point, I was in stitches laughing at something that one of the lads was giving out about, my ribs were actually burning with the laughter, and I was in so much pain, literally convulsing at one point.

Plenty of booze laughs and a bit of singing. Aimee took control of the music and played some good tunes; mainly metal, but then the music varied a bit as other people started throwing stuff on the queue. I really wanted to play some songs, but every time I was presented with the blank search bar I had no idea what to put on.
