It is a task that demands great consistency, and it is certainly no simple task. May the grace God strengthen you and keep you going.

I am a lover of Christian music, and not participating for "praise and worship" music every week sometimes give me concern. But I certainly cannot help it, I get too busy that I barely find time for the things I love doing. Notwithstanding, I will by his grace try my best to keep up this time.

Soy un amante de la música cristiana, y no participar para la música de "alabanza y adoración" cada semana a veces me da preocupación. Pero ciertamente no puedo evitarlo, estoy tan ocupado que apenas encuentro tiempo para las cosas que me gusta hacer. No obstante, por su gracia haré todo lo posible para mantener el ritmo esta vez.

For this week, and with respect to the week's theme, I will be performing the song "you are the pillar". It is a very popular Christian worship chorus over here in Nigeria, so popular that it is known by every Nigerian Christian. I choose this song because of how much it attributes our entire existence to God, and it is no doubt in line with the theme of the week. In summary, this very song opines that God is the pillar that holds out lives.

Para esta semana, y con respecto al tema de la semana, voy a interpretar la canción "you are the pillar". Es un estribillo de alabanza cristiana muy popular aquí en Nigeria, tan popular que lo conocen todos los cristianos nigerianos. Elijo esta canción por lo mucho que atribuye toda nuestra existencia a Dios, y sin duda está en consonancia con el tema de la semana. En resumen, esta misma canción opina que Dios es el pilar que sostiene nuestras vidas.

I completely agree, without God we are nothing. He is the cause of our being, and by extension, the cause of our lives. In affirming that he is the one that holds our being, we by extension give glory to his name. Having said all of these, I will beg that you join me to praise the name of creator and God. Indeed, he is the pillar that holds our lives.

Estoy completamente de acuerdo, sin Dios no somos nada. Él es la causa de nuestro ser y, por extensión, la causa de nuestra vida. Al afirmar que es Él quien sostiene nuestro ser, por extensión damos gloria a su nombre. Dicho todo esto, os ruego que os unáis a mí para alabar el nombre del creador y de Dios. En efecto, él es el pilar que sostiene nuestras vidas.

This performance is more like a cover of the original song, and so I will be doing something unique without loosing touch of the original song. In all, I am certain you will enjoy every bit of it.
