Sounds Of Home - Asean Hive Community Challenge #174 My Entry
Hello everybody,
It's been a while that I posted here in our community simply because I take good care of hubby who is bedridden since April and so busy with the never ending housechores. How are you all? Hope, all is good in your homefront or in the environment where you are.
Since we transfered here in our new abode in the year 2020 Month of November, the sounds we hear is much different from the other City that we came from. This City still raw, so many trees, with many forest, green pasture and less residents.
Here early in the morning we can hear birds singing
Noisy crickets the whole day noisy because at the back of our house is like a jungle or forest.
Our neighbor's are far from us. I even call this place a Little Prairie.
During rainy days, frogs croaks so noisely especially at night. In the afternoon and early evening the wind blew like sea breeze, it makes you sleepy.
But not for long. The Little Prairie is gone now because every year lots here were sold and new resident build houses. A network Tower was built, a resort with swimming pool and a Christian Church. Thus, every Sunday we can hear music band sound and prople shouting "Praise The Lord."
In addition, here in our area we are surrounded by small churches we call "Kapilya." It seems they celebrate fiesta every week we can hear it their novena's at 6pm and loud music after until 10pm. We also have a new neighbor, I think about 150 meters away from us. The owner place a Big box of speaker at the side of the street. His sounds starts at early in the morning and ends at 10pm. He did this when there is no rain, just so annoying.Usually, I can't take video on that day because of his loud sounds!
In the year 2020, my friend gave me a dog we named Butchak. Over the years, our dogs grow in numbers until now it reaches 12 dogs alive some did not survive while still puppies. They are so noisy every hour an hourly alarm plus sometimes they howl a different sound as if seeing something we can't see especially past mid night, really scary.
Oh, before I forget, we can also hear planes passing by almost everyhour and helicopter hovering by.
These are all the Sounds in our Home so far. Hope you can relate if you are staying in a province, too.
Thanks for dropping by...
@jurich60
Note: Grateful much at last am done writing this draft since 3 days ago, on and off.
Oh, the sounds of birds is like a lullaby, they are noisy but when get use to it it become like a part of our life. And you have lots of pretty dogs. Its scary when they howl though.
Yes Sis especially after mignight
I like the dogs i am a pet lover
Thank you in 2023 they reached up to 18 dogs then some were sick and died.
Oh so sad 💔
Oh, I love the sounds of the birds and you have very beautiful flowers. Your dogs are all cute. Love to see them just sit on the stairs behaving.
I like your place @jurich60. Just by looking at your photos I know that you enjoy the serenity in your few years of staying there. Normally, every year, people will build their houses around and become your neighbors. The sad truth is you cannot choose your neighbors.🤩🤩🤩
Well, that's part of our lives.😊
Birds are commonly viewed in the province. Their melodies are music to our ears. That is why I love staying in the province rather than the hustle and bustle of the city.
Anyway, I am not bothered anymore by the annoying sounds of the motorbikes' modified mufflers at night. I chose to listen to the sounds of crickets until I fell asleep. ☺️
Yes sis @diosarich provincial living is really peaceful but just accept and be used to natures sounds like the crikets.
I prefer nature sounds than the city sound. Your place is like paradise for gone are the crickets, the chirping of birds when you are in the city.
I love all your nature photos.
What a lovely story telling!
And oooooo! The howling during midnight, scary!😱🫣🫣😍
