I'll tell you a little more about it:
The origin of the trova was in the 19th century. It emerged in the eastern region of Cuba, mainly in Santiago de Cuba, influenced by the cultural mix of Spanish colonizers, African slaves and local peasants.
But, what is the trova in a few words?: It is a musical tradition based on poetic and melodic compositions, sung with guitar accompaniment.

Having said that, I tell you that the song I chose for this entry is called 20 años and is precisely a love poem created by our Maria Teresa Vera. The accompaniment is only on guitar and I feel that this enhances more the feeling that is expressed in these lyrics.

As always, I am grateful to everyone who supports me weekly and I am very happy to see how more artists with so much talent continue to join. The entire Vibes team really brings a lot of value to each new artist that arrives. **Uno de los generos que mas adore estudiar en la escuela de musica fue la trova tradicional cubana, porque soy de naturaleza oriental cubana y leste genero surgio en tierra oriental.

Te cuento un poquito mas sobre esta:
El origen de la trova fue en Siglo XIX. Surge en la región oriental de Cuba, principalmente en Santiago de Cuba, influenciada por la mezcla cultural de colonizadores españoles, esclavos africanos y campesinos locales.
Pero, qué es la trova en pocas palabras?: Es una tradición musical basada en composiciones poéticas y melódicas, cantadas con acompañamiento de guitarra.

Dicho esto te cuento que la canción que escogi para esta entrada se llama 20 años y es precisamente un poema de amor creado por nuestra Maria Teresa Vera. El acompañamiento es solo a guitarra y siento que esto realza mas el sentimiento que en esta letra se expresa.

Como siempre agradecida con todo el que me apoya semanalmente y me alegra mucho ver como se siguen uniendo mas artistas con tanto talento.
