MY HEART WILL GO ON - SWEET FLUTE/VOICE COVER BY SUANET | VIBES WEB3 MUSIC COMPETITION WEEK#29

Another week in the Vibes Contest, and I’m so happy about the topic they selected! As I shared in my Hive Intro Post, I’m also a flutist. So, when I saw that My Heart Will Go On was released in the '90s, I decided to perform it with my sweet flute and my voice.

Otra semana en el Vibes Contest, ¡y estoy muy feliz con el tema que seleccionaron! Como mencioné en mi publicación de presentación en Hive, también soy flautista. Así que, cuando vi que My Heart Will Go On se lanzó en los años 90, decidí interpretarla con mi flauta dulce y mi voz.

I always try to do something different for my entries, sharing love and making people reflect on different topics. I studied transverse flute, but since I graduated, I haven’t been able to play it anymore because I used the school’s instrument. However, a famous musician gifted me this kenna, and sometimes I play it.

Siempre intento hacer algo diferente en mis participaciones, compartir amor y hacer que la gente reflexione sobre distintos temas. Estudié flauta traversa, pero desde que me gradué no he podido tocarla más, ya que usaba el instrumento de la escuela. Sin embargo, un músico famoso me regaló esta kenna y, de vez en cuando, la toco.

When I was studying flute, my dad @ach67 always made sure to download information about it from the internet at his last job for me. Back then, the internet wasn’t available to Cubans—only a few people in specific jobs could use it, and with many restrictions. I still remember how happy I was when he got me the sheet music for the Titanic movie song. From that day on, I always loved playing it and singing it at the same time.

Cuando estudiaba flauta, mi papá siempre se preocupaba por descargar información sobre el instrumento en su trabajo para mí. En aquel entonces, el internet no estaba disponible para los cubanos; solo unas pocas personas en trabajos específicos podían usarlo y con muchas restricciones. Recuerdo lo feliz que fui cuando consiguió la partitura de la canción de la película Titanic para mí. Desde ese día, siempre me encantó tocarla y cantarla al mismo tiempo.

While copying the lyrics of this song from the internet, I watched the video again, and I couldn’t resist the emotions—it’s such an amazing story, performed by incredible actors. Hope you enjoy this entry! Let’s continue bringing more artists to the community and to the blockchain.
