Hello friends, we meet again at the vibes community event and my blog @samuelstifen. Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week 40 I performed a song called Iris by the band Goo Goo Dolls. Goo Goo Dolls is an American music group formed in 1986 in Buffalo, New York, by guitarist/vocalist John Rzeznik, bassist/vocalist Robby Takac, and drummer George Tutuska. The band has had 19 top-10 singles on various charts, has sold 15 million records worldwide, and has been nominated for four Grammy Awards.

This band was the first band I heard when I entered high school. The first song I heard from this band was IRIS. It's an extraordinary and meaningful song.

The meaning of this song is about the deep love of someone who feels invisible and misunderstood by the world, hoping that their partner will know who they really are. According to my research, this song was inspired by the film "City of Angels," in which an angel willingly sacrifices his immortality for the love of a human.

This song was released in 1998. I may not have been born yet, but this song is still remembered and known today. In my opinion, this song will live on forever and become a legend.
