Hi, Vibes community, happy week to everyone! What a pleasure to meet you for week 36 in which we will have a free theme. I take this opportunity to congratulate all the winners of the last weeks, who have shown great talent and charisma.
The piece I share with you today singing and accompanying on guitar, is the song My Last Breath, by American alternative metal band Evanescence, as part of their album Fallen, released in 2003. The lyrics are quite hard, and tell us about someone who is about to leave this earthly plane and expresses her final thoughts and feelings to the person she loves, accepting death with resignation, no longer afraid. I have always felt that many of this band's songs have a very deep meaning and usually deal with difficult themes and this song was no exception. I hope you guys like it.
¡Hola, comunidad de Vibes, feliz semana para todos! Qué placer encontrarme con ustedes para la semana 36 en la que tendremos temática libre. Aprovecho la oportunidad para felicitar a todos los ganadores de las ultimas semanas, quienes han demostrado gran talento y carisma.
La pieza que les comparto hoy cantando y acompañando en la guitarra, se trata de la canción My Last Breath, de la banda de metal alternativo estadounidense Evanescence, como parte de su álbum Fallen, publicado en el año 2003. La letra es bastante fuerte, y nos habla de alguien que está a punto de partir de este plano terrenal y expresa sus pensamientos finales y sentimientos a la persona que ama, aceptando la muerte con resignación, ya sin miedo. Siempre he pensado que muchas de las canciones de esta banda tienes un significado muy profundo y generalmente tratan de temas difíciles y esta canción no ha sido la excepción. Espero que les guste.
