My Singing Journey: How I started singing
Singing has always held a special place in my heart since I was a child. I remember humming along to songs on the radio, trying to mimic every note and lyric with passion. I've always wanted to learn guitar, keyboard, drums, or any other instrument that would help me express music in all its forms. But somehow, life kept getting in the way, and I never got the chance to truly learn them.
Nevertheless, my passion for music never waned. As I grew older, that little spark of interest turned into a flame. More than just a pastime, music became a part of me.
I decided on a whim to participate in a local singing competition one day. It was just a step outside of my comfort zone, so I didn't expect much from it. But I won, which surprised me. That moment changed everything for me. The cheers, the applause, and most importantly, the encouragement I received from my friends lit a fire in me. They advised me to keep singing and said I had a beautiful voice. That support gave me the confidence I didn’t know I needed.
I'm now taking everything more seriously. I’ve started sharing my music journey on the Hive platform, and I feel like this is the beginning of something exciting. I’ve also decided to finally learn the guitar — something I’ve always wanted to do but never got around to. And yes, I’m starting my own channel soon, where I’ll be sharing covers, originals, and my progress as I grow both as a singer and a musician.
I know the road won't be easy, but I believe in this dream. I hope you all will support me as I take these steps into the world of music. Let’s see where this journey takes us!
